I am a fan of Elijah Craig, I haven't been able to get barrel proof yet. I did buy 2 bottles of Elijah Craig at Heavan Hill probably 6 years or more ago. Both are small batch 12 years old, one is a standard 94 proof and the other is 129.7 proof. I am at the halfway point on each bottle, which are the old style. I have gone thru numerous newer bottles of Elijah Craig, but the older ones have sentimental value and the 129.7 has heat.
B522 over A122 for me. My flight included the last 5 batches. Haven’t tried the C922 yet.

This year was my first year getting all 3 ECBPs. I had to actually go to another state because my state and a state near me never cot A122. Now, I'm super excited I was able to get the A batch. Thanks for doing this.

I have all three. Just picked up 522, 922 today. Doing my own comparison and my 122 was terrible a month ago and the last two nights it has been awesome. My 522 and 922 were very good on the first crack so looking forward to them a month from now. They are all too good but so far my 122 is tops! Great review, loving the channel!

A little bit of sadness tonight. The Larceny BP and ECBP that I've been able to get this year, are the two that got kicked off the island first. Ignorance is bliss I guess, cause both are best of the year candidates for me. Good to know it's worth staying on the hunt for the others!
Great rundown. Highly entertaining. I don’t think I could do this. Palette gets pretty wrecked after 3 or 4 BPs. It would be cool to try Larceny BP at say 10-12yrs. Cheers!
Classic you had the exact opposite outcome from the mash and drum. Like complete opposite. Goes to show everyone’s palates different but maybe there a slight variance between bottles
I kind of love it when that happens haha! But us and Jason have been on the same page about other bottles before. And also, I often wonder if we did the last blind flight 10 times over 10 different days, how much, if any, the outcomes would vary. I think they would vary some.

Yes, we mixed them up just like we normally do in our Flight Fights, though we're normally drinking 4 or sometimes 5 things blind.
Nice match-up, I'm a bit jealous, to be honest. Still no 2022 ECBP in Germany, so most probably we get the C-batch this year, well, or nothing 😳😉

Do you think it’s possible you made a labeling mistake on The ECB522 and the ECA122? Seemed like the exact opposite tasting notes that I have for those so thinking maybe you just had a typo when tracking??
two totally different animals. depends on your mood. larceny doesn't have as sark a profile. I like larceny in summer and fall. craig is leather, dark and spicy great cold winter by fire

I watch this channel a fair amount. It’s a good show. It occurs to me the two of you are married. For whatever reason it occurs to me (being I have children of my own) I hope you two have kids. It is a real tragedy when couple’s sacrifice their legacy for career. After all, whose gonna visit you when you are old if you don’t have kids? You’ll just be lonely with whiskey. You really don’t know what you are missing until you meet your baby for the first time.
