I went up to the Lost Cove a few weeks ago and was thinking about the history that we are losing I wish it could be restored while I was up there I cought some one trying to Vandalize the old truck by the tree And I run them off All places like that should be respected
Lost cove north carolina the state line is in the next holler over devil's creek. The first time I ever traveled devil's creek I didn't know for sure where I was until I spotted the remains of a still that my dad had told me about, and the way he had patched it after the law found it the first time. When I saw it I knew I was on devil's creek. It couldn't be fixed after they found it the second time.
Very cool history.

John D Tipton was my grandfather’s kin, I believe. Is he buried at Roan Mtn State Park?
