Could you do a video describing some of the actual rituals that went on/goes on in the lodges? I'd also love to hear a history of Freemasonry in the United States, where every town big or small has at least one huge and fancy Masonic Lodge that now turned into a flea market or a music venue. We supposedly have a ton of Masonic imagery across our government symbols, money, seals, and architecture, and I'd also love to hear how much of that supposed influence is actually true, or which "Founding Fathers" were in fact Masons. Also, how much did American Freemasonry change from before to after the Revolutionary War?

It's complicated but, in a nutshell, all the traditional crafts had esoteric initiations. These were either patterned on the Mysteries of antiquity, or derived from a common source. Most of the traditional craft corporations have gone extinct, with Freemasonry and the French Compagnonage being the only surviving remnants. Today's Masonry doesn't have the exact same aims and objectives of the earlier craft fraternity, which functioned as stonemason's companies. Instead, it is now to a large extent a charitable social club, but keeps the fraternity's ancient traditions and rituals.

Do we need more Freemasonry? Perhaps more in-depth on topics you usually cover is better.
You didn't mention the decline of Freemasonry due to changing social life in the 20th century. In a way it was like a social club. There weren't as many other activities for people to do in the evening / weekends in the 19th century, and it could be good for networking. Things like TV / film came along, cars, world travel, etc. The local club here is all quite old men so it is literally dying off. It is more focused on being good for the community and lovey-dovey stuff than secret rituals and fun stuff.

This video contains a description of the various Masonic organizations and their adaptation to contemporary trends over three centuries. It covers such trends, for example the stance of the Catholic church towards Freemasonry in the 19th century, but fails to mention the hostile stance of the Catholic church to Masonry in the 18th century. It would be preferable to deal with freemasonry just in the 18th century, and put greater emphasis on the political activity of the Freemasons, and the response of political authorities to Masonry, and to deal with later centuries accordingly.

It is so strange to hear you speak to Mason's allowing other religions and women into its ranks 100 years ago. Today in the Southern United States, women are either barred from joining or so discouraged that it simply doesn't occur. I have only met less than a handful of Masons that are anything other than white protestant cis-het men. Perhaps that is something that is centered in the South, but I tend to think there is a good bit of homogeny across the US lodges in this regard.
I am curious what the membership looks like outside of my geographic area just out of sheer curiosity.

Basically any male who claims such a belief and can afford the dues without a felony can potentially be made a mason the all female only lodges out of the UK where the OES is not always so prevalent to my knowledge are considered otherwise regular hope that helps some😊

I'm a 7th generation mason in GA. I haven't been active since the early 90's because of the disgusting attitudes you're describing. I haven't lived outside the south so I haven't been able to find out for myself but I believe that this evil is more localized in my peculiar homeland than you would think. I don't know the current situation, but the Grand Lodge of GA was pretty much ostracized from national level masonry years ago. I need to look into it. The Order of The Eastern Star for the ladies is interesting. It includes a single male member. My grandfather enjoyed being the token "patriarch " at the ladies meeting. That's basically swinging SBC style. There was a lynching 8 miles from my home 78 years ago. I'm 55. No one was ever convicted. I grew up in a small town surrounded by people who participated.

Thank you Angela, do you know if the chakra system represents the degrees in freemasonry? And if so, is it 1 chakra system for everyone they are accessing, or are there multiple. And how many degrees and or chakras?

If what I'm percieving is legit, I'm thinking 144 chakras, and the degrees in these organizations are being invaded and gatekept. So secret clubs monopolizing and harvesting and witholding life source energy from the life source
