I couldn't stop smoking weed no matter how hard I tried. I cried out to God for help and he asked me to fast. I did it and he delivered me. I had smoked for 20 years of my life and now I have had no desire for it for a yr and half. Before He delivered me I couldn't imagine ever stoping. It was overwhelming to even try and think about.
Now I can't imagine smoking it🎚️🙌. He is a miracle working God🎚️ He is indescribably amazing!!!!!!!

Before i watch, as a Christian I don't really understand fasting I thought it was just going a long period without food and praying more than you usually do... I need to start fasting properly and really understanding it. Getting Closer to God

@@laurascotton1383 I am here to encourage you not to give up, I am an ex smoker going on 2 years free, Glory to God, for he knows I tried many times, only to go back after a short while. A family member died of a heart attack also a smoker and so that had me thinking of where I was heading and a month later I quit.
My testimony.....
Almost 2 years ago I bought a pack of cigarettes, took one out, looked at it and said how can this little thing control me it is not stronger than me, I threw it aside and fell asleep, next morning when I woke up it was there, I picked it up put it back in the carton and hid the pack.
I know for sure Heavenly Father took away that dependence I had on them right overnight, no way I did it by myself, and till this day that pack of cigarettes still sits hidden with all 20 🚬

I know all to well about heart attacks, I'm a survivor of two, which of one, I never should have survived but through God's grace I'm here to tell about it as well as three strokes again one I shouldn't have woken up from one. Leaving me brain damaged and paralyzed on the left side of the body. I've been trying for 18 plus years to quit. I know that this nasty habit does not have control over me. I do my best to give it to my heavenly father every single day, but I fail miserably. He has helped me unbecome in so many different ways. I always say this to these DLM videos, but this is so good! I needed to hear this. I literally battle with gluttony. I eat healthy, but it’s a lot of over eating of healthy foods which doesn’t make it better. No excuse, gluttony is a sin period.

I jsut finished my first ever 3day water fast. It was not difficult. I am very devout that I fast like 4days a month but this time I thought I would add more days. When you fast longer, you feel more connected to the LORD. I have compassion for people I don't care about or don't know now. I have love for everyone. When I fast I also remember some sins that I did that I haven't confessed. This time it was cursing people from family members to strangers, Mathew5:43-45 and exodus rules are against that. Pray when you are hungry, spend time in prayer, plan when you are able amd stay in prayer. Been a Christian for 2months and ready to get baptised just waiting for the process. I was feeding my family and cooking it wasn't hard one bit but I was scared I might take a bite😂😂

I do struggle with the sin of gluttony,less than before when i was without Christ but i still do.This fasting could be very beneficial to me in many ways.
I would like to do a short fast from internet and television and use that time to focus more on God and his word and then work my way up to a longer fast of the same things. Oh boy, is that going to be a challenge. But I hope with God's help, I can do it.

I am forever amazed by Gods word and the path he has set out for us in his word in the bible. Again God has provide us with instructions on how to become closer to him and even how to eat. God knows what our physical body needs and again provides us with instruction. Fasting only being incorporated it todays diets as the positive results on our body. Only our creator would have known this in the beginning and ensured that he provided us with instructions on how and why this should be done. Forever amazing when you take the time to understand. Let us all honour our Lord and saviour through Jesus Christ who demonstrated this fractice to us. Amen

My mom told me about intermittent fasting, I lost a lot of weight. I was doing it for myself at the time. I didn't think of God. I'm different now but not perfect, I just hope I please God now. I'm still trying to know as much as I can about Him. I'm not fasting now. I eat what I want but in small portions. I eat 2 times a day. It's hard to stop smoking cigarettes. I went a few days without cigarettes and caved.

I’ve prayed for god to show me he exists, I’ve asked him to please let me feel his presence. Or if he could show himself to me. I was sincere and I have faith in god. I really needed him in that moment. But nothing happened it’s been a few days. I haven’t lost faith over that day, I will admit I am sad about it, especially after hearing so many videos on here of other people explaining how god actually showed himself to them. I have given up everything of the world - I deleted all games, Netflix, I don't watch TV, don't listen to secular music, my fiance is in another country and we don't talk intimate things. I've been trying to fast, read the bible, and pray to get closer to God and for Him to guide me in the way He wants me to go, as it concerns my fiance, a job I was offered and what His will is for my life. However, I keep feeling further and further away from God, having the worst dreams and I no longer hear from God. Can someone advise me why this would be?

I struggled in family problems and sin.I asked God for mercy but I did not do anything for God.now this striked my mind to fast for 21 days and I clicked on to this video
On the subject that "Fasting changes you" if we are going through injustice and we are taking it to the Lord through fasting and prayer, we have to be very careful that it does not change you so much that all of a sudden you see God as a "Closet promoter of sin and injustice" and that we are to praise him for it!!! While fasting may change you, your circumstances should change just as well otherwise there is no praise report.
I was always scared because of my past eating disorder issues. But I think I'm going to try a 24 hr fast

So I just did my first fasting through Lent and I ended up giving up alcohol which was the best thing and I could have only did it I believe with the help of Jesus cuz I tried it before it wasn't really working very well so I did that and I stopped eating pizza at work and God showed me a healthier better way

I’m Dutch,but live in Thailand.People stay here in the temple to meditate,fast and learn to have respect for each other.
Now days,special the young people come to the temple and need to give there mobile to the monk.
After 2 or 3 days they want to go back home,because they
cannot live without there mobiles.
Try to start fasting not to use your mobile for a day and then maybe a bit longer.
It I’d more difficult for many people,include myself,not to use your mobile for a while then not to eat for a while.

I’ve been fasting partially wrong and the Lord revealed that I have not been led by the spirit. I repented and prayed about it. Also I was thinking that His silence was Him not answering me, I’ve been hit with a lot spiritual warfare and lost my job because I was not fasting correctly. Not reading and studying properly. Allowing my job my family and my loneliness get the best of me. For the first time in my life I’m by myself and I’m learning how to cope with it and really want the Lord presence by really don’t know how to focus on my prayers and be content with myself and being led by the Spirit.
I am fasting now i am christian and i love Jesus Whit my whole heart

I been intermittent fasting for a while and GOD gave me signs about a blessing is on the way.GOD let my my whole being know to take a break.Im really happy and GOD really seen and honor me!I lost a total of 15lbs,however I dont know what to do but wait.Amen!
Did the blessing come true
Before I came back to God, I was a huge glutton. I would eat even at midnight. Worst part is it didn't really show too much, cos I didn't add much weight or become obese. So, I had no idea I was doing wrong. I was okay with it. But, now that God has pulled me into His embrace, I eat like a bird. I try to eat the amount I would eat in the past and I just can't 😂😂😂 He has changed me all round 😊 Hallelujah 🙏❤️
Christian fasting is both physical, mental and spiritual. On the spiritual level, it is what John the Baptist said: "He [Jesus] must increase, I must decrease," (John 3:30). Fasting is not just "not-to-eat" but also living front of God, seeking His Kingdom and practicing those works that are according to God's will.
