The video made with Drone Avatar 2 is really cool! It's amazing to see it flying stably even on a windy day. The flight using the 940 rate and low expo is especially impressive. This drone is primarily designed for stable filming, but it's surprising that it can also fly aerobatics if you have good throttle control. The use of custom props HQ DT2.9x2.7x3 is also interesting. I look forward to future FPV clips as well.
correct, you can squeeze out some crazy freestyle if you want too. Done Trippy spins, matties and many other technical tricks, just watch your throttle and send it.
I'm absolutely loving my Avata 2. Its taught me so much these past few weeks. I laid one ground rule for myself: if im going to crash it has to be in manual mode. I saw way too many videos of people breaking their Avata 2's in normal or sport mode and didn't want to be one of them. With a manual mode crash I can at least say I learned something 😂
that is my biggest problem with TH-cam. It's extremely saturated with idiots who claim they are pro pilots and give horrible advice. Time to expose them and prove them wrong. Won't be silent anymore!
What camera angle do you use when flying in manual? Do you use the wheel on the fpv controller while flying to adjust the camera angle much when flying? Did you adjust any rates from the factory, and if so, which ones to what?
@@nickplumridge182 yes I did and still flies smooth under normal winds. Keep in mind it's a cinewhoop, so very strong winds will not let you fly good at all.
Hello dronarchy, what you do with drones seems incredible to me. I'm starting to fly with the avatar and the protection that the body has caught my attention. Did you print it? Greetings from Argentina!
So I just got my Avata 2 and am loving it. New to drone flying, only had a mavick before. I assuming to be doing flying like this I will need the controller with thumb sticks? I like the joystick but feels a little simplistic. Cheers
If you do go out and buy that controller there are a few setup procedures you need to do before the controller and the drone are setup for manual mode. They are in place for a reason, its a much more complicated way to fly. Manual mode is not something to be taken lightly. Train in a simulator first so you understand what youre getting into.
Hey love the video Where did you get that 3D printed frame for the top of the body? I'm not talking about the prop guards, I've been hunting for an STL file of a full body shell for more protection
@@Babeboof153 someone just uploaded a better cover that includes top print on Thingiverse. Search for Avata 2 prints. Has bumpers and cam protection as well.
good question. No changes and peace of mind that it will bounce if I crash 😅. That was a windy day, and managed to fly decently, even with bumper printed parts. No aero deficiency.
Someone help so I'm no where good as you but I've been messing with the rates and i'm 100% going to try those rates when I look at video of good FPV pilots and their 1 of 2 kinds one doing crazy Highspeed either long range or fast quick, very precise maneuvers, or something where the Drone has a real nice flow still quick but very capable but they have this flow like someone is guiding it with their hand smoothly , and I'm in box 2 but I cant find a flow if this makes sense
relax and enjoy your flights. If you stress out, then you won't get better at FPV. Make small goals every weekend and accomplish them. Build confidence by flying smarter, not harder.
@@dronarchy Thanks for getting back so Acutelly I've praticed today and had a really good run so good I might post it but let me ask you this, Avata 2 is my first "FPV" drone... Sketchy Bro! haha wow the avata 2 matty flip was insane, great video man keep it up bro and send it
Thanks! Will do!
Your Avata 2 content is so sick, ya dig
pushing its limits 😅.
Could watch it for hours 😁 awesome and dope flow af ripping Bruder 👊😉🔥
danke bruder 💯🫶
I'm a simple man. I see dronarchy post avata 2 content, I feed The Algorithm.
flying all drones 🫶
Nice love the video
Just amazing! Keep it p!
Thank you! Will do!
3:43 I'm a small gap, you can't get through here... Dronarchy: ...hold my beer.
Nice fly, bro👊
bro anyone cqn rip this drone. Is actually fun and relaxing ❤️🔥
It’ll be awesome to see you do a similar flight with a 5inch in the same video for comparison
Will post it and thanks for asking 👊🔥. You will be surprised.
nice video, you have super skills :)
practice and enjoy!
How you doing?~ Dronarchy! total top ~
chillax with this Avata 2 👊
I saw a really cool video. 👍
Thank you very much! More clips ahead. Mix of chillax and rips. No one is doing it with the Avata2 😉
Hi! What controller are you using in this video?
thanks for asking. This is the DJI RC3.
What camera angle do you use when flying in manual? Do you use the wheel on the fpv controller while flying to adjust the camera angle much when flying? Did you adjust any rates from the factory, and if so, which ones to what?
good question. Pretty sure I had it on 30. Please check my previous Avata 2 clip where I show all secret rates, control settings and more.
Awesome video again! Have you tested these bumpers in high wind?
@@nickplumridge182 yes I did and still flies smooth under normal winds. Keep in mind it's a cinewhoop, so very strong winds will not let you fly good at all.
@@dronarchy totally understand! I have a cracked prop guard so this will give it extra life before a refresh! Cheers man.
Can you give me a link from the site from where you made the protection from the top of the drone
that is my design. Still testing variations to protect the top plate and battery corner. Will release on Thingiverse for everyone to print.
What's your setup? Camera angle and rates? If you so kind to share :)
30 degrees on cam, 940 rates for the ripper mode. Check my previous clips that show the settings and rates for each case.
@@dronarchy Thank you 👍🙏
Very nice video..What throttle percentage do you use during recovery?
@@fauzanfsa could be from 65% to 80% after crazy rolls or bigger split S maneuvers.

correct.
totally agree with you. The Motion Control is good to start fpv, but then you graduate and use the RC3 for utmost control and real fpv feel.

It's my top plate print design, still in prototype stages. So far is working good and protecting that battery corner that everyone smashes ;)

🙌🏼🙌🏼
lets go! Avata fam 🔥🔥
What camera angle are you ripping with? :)
think I left it on 30 degrees for aggressive rips. For normal whooping stay within 10 to 25.
저도 아바타2 있는데... 형처럼 못날리겠어요 ㅎㅎㅎ
yes you can brother. Go out and fly, enjoy the process 💯🫶
What is the black protection cover please?
excellent observation. I designed that 3D print to protect from top slams. So far is working really good. Still a prototype 👊
