I adore the way they do this. It often brings on tears. What an absolute thrill this must be. It’s all no nonsense, just real fans and no plants in the crowd. I’ve been a fan a long time now (nowadays closer to 60 than 50) and went to Old Trafford and they were better than ever. It’s embarrassing how often I’ve been at the front with friends, all hands in the air, DESPERATELY SCREAMING OUR F**kING LUNGS OUT to pick me from all those people. Unfortunately not to be. I’m yet to be at a gig where the person chosen has ever made a mess of it though. Congratulations to every single one of you that were lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time.
