@@packman21421 It's like an open world sandbox game but with plenty of missions and progression as well as a story campaign. It's a really nice game to just relax with, or if you're someone who enjoys the sandboxness of it there is just unlimited amounts of fun you can have :) Especially if you're playing with friends. The social nature of the game really brings out the best in people and it's probably the nicest community of any game i've ever played.

Elias design is fortnite like but the graphics and the qualuty is fantastic. On max settings the water and the scenery looks beautiful.

it's a got a cartoon look... the cartoon style is good but when it comes down to it graphics are always the least important of any game, imo. usually you see when graphics are not a big focus of a game the overall game is better (with the exception of low budget games). you can't always afford to work on the graphics, the problem in my opinion is AAA titles focus on graphics to much. obviously the more time you spend on one aspect of development the less time you can spend on others. I feel the ratio most developers adopt consists of to much time on graphics and not enough time on the more important stuff. imagine if the witcher 3 had a much simpler graphic style? the game would've probably been even longer and larger. I just hope that this game can be an example of what I mean.

Not sure what the final game will actually be like. But man, I have not had this much fun with a beta in a very long time.
The game is fun as heck with friends, but without more content i fear it will be forgotten fast.

yeah it looks like jack is becoming burned already because they do stupid things to have fun and that means the game isn't providing more than a few things to do. But again piracy is just that, do the same stuff every time.

Can't wait for the full release. I've just been playing with randoms and I've had a blast. Met all kinds of cool people. The beta is said to be a very small portion (map size and content) of what the full release will be. So, if your enjoying the beta like me then you will love the full game.

Game has soo much potential not being met!
They could add:
- enemy drops
- more enemies
- fishing
- mythical creatures (sea monsters)
- levelling system/progression
- weapon variety
- unique items to each island/outpost
- outpost games such as knife throwing or arm wrestling
- bootlegging (liquor chest)
- companions (parrots, dogs)
- loot rarity system
- caves of various difficulties to obtain loot or the island specific weapon/loot
- various pirate and ship customizations (being able to have a ghost ship or ship that looks raised from the deep and covered in seaweed)
Such a beautiful game it's sad they are keeping it soo simple.

J. Case It would be cool if you can load grapples into the cannons and shoot them. After so many, you can hook them up to some sort of puppy system to bring them in. Would help makes battles go faster.
To add, those that are grapples should be able to cut the ropes, but it takes some time.

Since this is a pirate/naval game, that's not the best thing to add. It would give something to do while sailing though

Things that need added / improved:
1. Add two more cannons to the Sloop, if a 4 player ship has 8, the two player ship should have 4
2. Either increase the carry capacity for bullets or be able to loot skeletons for ammo
3. Be able to shoot a ships mast and disable their ability to sail until repaired
4. Lower skin costs, the cost of adding skins to a ship is outrageous - 70,000 for a ship skin???

I remember my ol’ sea of thieves days. When I was first starting out I only had hope and a pocket with some gold. My sloop was my baby and I felt as the ocean was mine for the taking. I quickly realized that would not last very long, as I would continually be hunted by galleons with experienced players on board. I was sick of it, so, I began my true journey. Everyday for roughly about a year I played. When I was sad, I played, when I was sick. I played, when I was happy, I played. My pockets got fat and my ship got beautiful. I spent my time attacking fortresses and raiding other ships, soloing everybody on board. I eventually earned a name for myself. Panther. They trembled are the sound of that name and if they have never heard of my I imprinted it into the back of their head with my pistol. But one day, the day my summer ended, I stopped. I may have not became the best, but I sure became good. Real good. I felt as if my job was done. I beat the kraken, I beat the megaladon, I beat the fortress, I beat the bullies, and I beat the poverty I was in. On that day, I logged off.
