It's on my plans to eventually visit this place. Truthfully we usually avoid the Gatlinburg/ Pigeon Forge area because of the traffic / commercialism stuff. But every now and then we do season tickets to Dollywood and I was thinking next year we probably would and do some campgrounds in the area. Someone actually gave me some passes that I have to use before the end of the year so somehow we are going twice in November. Once to Clabough's and once to Cades Cove. It does look like a nice stay there.
Looks like a very nice campground. Something for everyone, and i love the stream. Just found your channel, we will be following along, thanks for sharing.
Hi Sandy, There are tent sites right by the river! Those sites that we show near the beginning of the video are all along the river and are tent only sites. The best part about them is they are pretty far away from the rest of the campground. The negative is you are pretty close to the highway. Thanks for watching and we appreciate the comment.
That looks like a pretty nice campground! I’d stay there! But too bad it doesn’t have a swimming pool! That would be nice for kids or adults who don’t like to go in rivers or creeks! Like me who hates to get bit by a fish or whatever’s living under that water, ha ha! Enjoyed the video!
I’ve been trying to find videos on the mountains there, I’m kinda nervous towing my 26’ trailer trailer with a 1500 Chevy. Anyone have any advice on what to expect?
Hey T-Fish, for some reason this comment just showed up...In SPAM. The mountains in that area are very BIG for the east coast. Some of the roadways have many switchbacks etc with steep grades. What is your entire setup? What are your weights etc.
@@Marcs-Adventures it’s a Crossroads Zinger. I was wrong, I was thinking from end to end. I have a bunch on the back of mine but it’s model is officially Zinger Lite 18BH. Box is 18’.
I pull a 26' with a 2001 2500 with a 8.1, no problem at all. All depends which way you come in. Greenbriar has directions on their site so its much easier than your GPS. Very easy!!
Hi Linda, They don't actually have cabins to rent but they do offer new"er" campers for rentals. There were at least 3 that we saw that were situated in very nice sites in the campground. If I remember correctly they looked like they were all over 26ft in length too. Hope this helps. :) Thanks for watching!
Just wish this campground weren’t so stacked up. We had folks come setup a tent next to our camper and it was like 11’ from our camper. Tons of kids and tons of cursing and foul language our kids could have done without. I know it’s more money for Greenbriar but not great for campers. It would be a favorite if the spaces weren’t so close together.
Well I'm sorry that you had such a terrible experience with other campers being inconsiderate. The three times that we've stayed there we have been very satisfied and the campground is generally very quiet even in the early evening hours. Do you remember what spot you were in?
@@Marcs-Adventures if you go straight back from the entrance it was about 3/5ths of the way back to the swimming hole. I know you can get crazy neighbors at any campsite. Not trying to spread a negative shadow on Greenbriar but more of comment about how close they are and how that translates to hearing everything from next door. Those spots are really tight down in that area. We are going again in a few weeks and I’ll be scouting the spots further apart. If you’re ok without WiFi and phone and without being close to attractions Indian Boundary in TN is awesome.
No restaurant. But there is a BBQ place that you could technically walk to right off the main highway right across the river. It's really a rustic campground. Not a great number of amenities but we love it because of it's "basicness" and the fact it feels like your in the national park. I think you guys will love it, especially camping in a tent. :)
Thanks for sharing! Looks like a great campground. Planning a trip in September. Thanks again!
Thank you for watching. It's a great campground!
Thank you for sharing this video for Greenbriar campground where we are going in 2 days!👍🙏😎
Awesome! Have fun but pay attention to summer storm threats and take them seriously there.
@@Marcs-Adventures OK thank you'all 😉
Beautful place. On top of my bucket list for this spring. Thanks for posting the vdeo
Thank you for watching Frank!
I love going to Tennessee Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge we go there every year and Marc I really like your videos keep doing the awesome work
Thank you for the kind words. We have a whole bunch more VLOGs coming soon. Had to take a break to finish up work before I have surgery next week. :(
Stayed last summer...LOVED IT
Yes! We love it there too! Thanks for watching and we hope you enjoyed the video.

Greenbreir is very laid back and quiet. In the evenings it is sooo quiet that you can hear a pin drop.

Thank you for the sub. Just subbed to your channel too. Greenbrier really is a great campground and we can't wait to go back again.
@@Marcs-Adventures Your welcome and thank you too.
Great Video thank you for sharing . Love the beach area so cool 😊
Thanks Debra, we appreciate you taking the time to watch! We can't wait to visit Greenbrier again, this time with inner tubes in hand! LOL
This looks like a beautiful campground! We are hoping to visit that area soon.
It really is beautiful. If your lucky enough to get one of those sites near the river the sound of the water over the rocks is mesmerizing.
Reckon we'll head on down.
We camped there 40 years ago. Quite different.
How has it changed since you camped there?
Are all the tent sites just in the middle? We’ve been trying to find a place where the tent sites can be by the river.

I agree with you about the river. This campground would be perfect if it had a pool.
9:50 That's a GaGa Ball arena.

I pull my 22’ with a Toyota FJ. Avoid small backroads if possible as they tend to be more skinny and curvy.
Wow, what are you pulling?

We have not had a chance to visit yet. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks! Maybe Halloween? :)

Its called a GaGa pit. A game

Which site did you stay
Don't remember off hand, last year we stayed in site 81, a pull through site. Let me see if I can find the site # for you.

WHERE DO YOU MAKE RESERVATON FOR GREENBRIER?
I usually use their website or call them. Thanks for watching. :)
Watch out for snakes and bears.
Thank you! Saw a few bears, no snakes.
