This is the first time i've seen anything like these brilliant looking two way enclosures man. Your designs are worth of praise and your simple yet sophisticated woodworking tools and your custom crossovers are very much appreciable. Apart from drivers everything here is raw DIY man. Good craftsmanship. Goodluck Erik

That was an amazing build, ive built a few sets myself, that is genius how you made the cuts to curve it and filled with glue, how far apart are the cuts for the bend and is it high density or medium density fiberboard? Very nice craftsmanship, better than alot of high end overpriced speakers ive saw.

What order crossover and what Hertz rolloff did you use? That port is huge for a small cabinet. What's it tuned down to? As you can tell, I build high class 3-Ways. 2 ways just do not give great depth . Most sound too neutral. Looks like you had fun. Keep spending more and building better.

    • @Erikdidit

Seems they weren't filled in. As a suggestion, next time use a mixture of wood clue and the excess wood dust to fill in the kerf cuts. You have basically thinned the wood panels top and bottom of the speaker and these still need to be the same thickness of wood as the sides. Basically fill in the kerf cuts.
      Nice build tho.

Great design, cabinet, and drivers but why electrolytic capacitors especially on the tweeters? Even budget factory speakers don't use electrolytics on the tweeter and are usually trying to save every dollar that adds up in case of huge volumes. For less than five units, the price difference between electrolytic and polypropylene caps is negligible but the performance difference is huge. Your speakers won't reach their full potential with the electrolytic caps.

those are a nice set of speakers, good design, but as usual for me, a lot of room to improve on it.
I would be more careful in the assembly and structural develop and manufacturing than the aesthetics and take care of the advantages of the wood in the design applied on aesthetics.
