Cracking job mate looks wicked. For sticking your next stuff down dab bit of ca glue will stop it moving. Also temu do a resin tape (barrier tape) cheap and stops the melamine sticking 👍🏴
I actually had the same idea with gluing them down so I did a tester and found the glue was visible through the clear epoxy so it didn't look good.
