Never Pay for wood again! - how to mill wood from fallen trees
So you're telling me right, that Ive been using the power of a great rune this whoooole time😮
Technically two runes combined! Even more powerful!
We learnt this in I.T
his name was Harald Gormsson. Blåtann was a nickname
I think the theory on his tooth is actually that she had something wrong with one of his teeth and it was blue
On research I read a few theories I read the tooth decay theory also and is probably more likely but I like the idea of his scarfing blueberries until he changed colour
Yes we've all heard of King Bluetooth
That's not a viking axe, it's a crap Wilko hatchet
@@Rcknives ohh thanks mate. That probably increases its value to be fair. Wilko stuff is now retro and unobtainable ergo valuable. R.I.P Wilko... We will never forget.
So epoxy resin burns when they are liquid but they don't burn when they are hardened?
i thoug that... you cant get the handle out this way, bc there is a wedge. This is not a restoration, this is a transformation. I think you damaged the iron by burning it like that till the handle flood. i think this is too heavy to be a war axe. Idk why an axe has to be called a viking axe. And few more.
Nice job mate looks wicked. What burning tool did you get use? Would love to get the wife one least then i can offer personalisation. Shes an artist might aswell let her do it 😂😂🏴👍
Honestly it was a real cheap one. Think it was an Aldi or Lidl special to be honest. Seems to do the job. Didn't see the point spending a bunch on it as it's my first try and I don't do it that often.
@@BlackTalonDesign fair enough will have look into them. 🏴👍

I'm saying 2. You binned the 2 you broke then fried and ate 2 so 2 left
Can’t fry an egg without breaking it. The answer is 4
@@Racing_Fox ye egg-actly. You break 2 ( 4 left) you bin those 2. Then you crack 2 and fry and eat them ( 2 left)
@@TheClumsyWoodworker if you just cracked the egg and didn’t break it open how would you get the egg out of the shell? You need to break it to get it out
4 because you cracked 2 into the pan and ate the same 2 eggs Can i get pinned
You’re right but for the wrong reason. Even if the egg is fried or broken you still ‘have’ the eggs. But as soon as you eat it, it’s considered ‘gone’. So the answer is 4 as you still technically have 4 eggs. Capish.

Cheers buddy!
I thought you were talking about grandma after the 'accident'
Haha this really made me laugh!
My God!!!!
The horses name was Friday. Edit - Your riddle is wrong 😢

Feel like it wasnt a riddle taunting me with the answer right in front of my face 😂
Well I don't wanna make you work too hard. It is the weekend after all
A river
I can see how you could name parts of a river somewhere of those things. Certainly has a mouth
Keep up the great work
You've been to Thailand haven't you 😂
I don't even understand this comment and I'm not sure I want to
Until the last couple seconds I'm like "hammer hammer hammer."
Sorry to disappoint. Hope the suspense was worth it!
How long did that take ya come up with 😂😂
Genuinely just researching parts of an axe so i don't sound so stupid in my upcoming video and thought immediately " there is a riddle in there somewhere."
@@BlackTalonDesign lol well bravo I don't think I'd of come up with something like that in a life time. 👍🏴
AXE Edit - YAAAY! I did it!
Top marks!
Drill one hole in bottom wood piece of wood (in line with your holes on metal plate )big enough for you to run your fasteners in as you rotate bottom plate then you only have to drill and repair one hole on bottom of piece😊
I think this is exactly the plan I have settled on. Nice one.
First, cut a block of wood that is the same size as the lazy susan, then use 4 screws to connect the wood to the bearing. After that connect one of the 2 pieces that you showed in the video with screws. Now the fun part starts here, use a router the curve a pocket that is the size of the small piece of wood that you screw firstly to the bearing. And then use glue and insert the block to the pocket. Its a bit too much for what is for but its an option :)
I was just thinking the same thing. But would you glue it down or have it b Abel to remove so you can place the board in other holders you've carved out? Just slide the square in like a puzzle piece.
Pre drill holes in the bottom board, attach the bottom board first, then attack it to the bigger board with the holes already drilled Or put the bottom piece on, then screw the big one on through the top and fill it in with sawdust
Drill 1 hole in first piece screwed turn and screw all 4 from 1 hole
As in make an oversized hole in base board and screw through that to top board.i had this idea but was going to do it 4 times until you made me realise I can just make 1 hole and rotate. Brilliant
Cut out board that supports other board in cross manner that waybu can glue it removed any time you want for upgrading
Bolts and nuts
Some small dowels sized for the holes and a bit of glue/resin may be an easy and cheap option.
Agreed. I think this is my leading solution at the moment
maybe consider using some low clearance rivets
Ah ok thanks. Probably a good idea but not a technique I am too familiar with. I will have to do a bit of research
Bolts in a bored out hole with a pilot for the bolt
Bolts
It comes apart
Yes it does however you have to fold a rim pop it out then fold the rim back over over to close but the rim is on the top board side so you have the same access issue closing it back up.
Really ??😂 this is simple as F 😂
Please enlighten me
There is always adhesive tbh 🤷🏻♂️🤔
Ye this was another idea I had. make a similar sized mounting plate in wood. Screw to mech and glue to the board. But I do always want pieces to be able to be disassembled if possible.
Probably stare at it for a long time throw it round the workshop a few times try take it apart and put it back together all else fails say f** it sorry not much help 😂😂👍🏴
AHH I see you are familiar with my "usual process"
@@BlackTalonDesign my standard practice on certian projects then normally the wife walks in and solves the problem instantly. Ask your other half fresh set eyes they are annoyingly bloody good at shit like that. 🙄👍😂🏴
Mark out the holes on the second piece first and pre drill the hole so you can fit a small bolt through. First the first section the put your bolts through so they stick out. Place the second section on top and fix down with nuts. The bolt may need to be quite long and cutting down to size
I had this idea but the bearing gap is barely wide enough to place the nut. Meaning the bolts would need to be an incredibly specific and bespoke size and require a very fiddly bit of fixing. Deffinatly possible but faffy
@@BlackTalonDesign go the pound shop and grap a cheap metal fake macarno. Full of nuts and bolts
That's actually genius
Full length video please. With your unique aspect of detail on how you mess up and inevitably fix it. Keep up the good work, can't wait 💪 🪓
Thanks, will do!
Absaloutley get it posted 👍🏴💪
Haha gotta actually finish the project first!
