Yeah she may seem act high and mighty but she's actually pretty kind and helpful, Vengeance is just a cloak for her to repay kindness to people and even those who wronged her, i bet being mistreated by the people of Mondstadt did offend her and "Vengeance will be mine" is just another term for "I'll work harder for the people of Mondstadt so one day i'll finally achieve the goal of being loved and accepted." She basically has no one after she met Jean and Amber, The Lawrence clan disowned her and the people doesn't support her as a knight because of her status as an Aristocrat. Another theory of mine of how she got a Cryo vision is because the Tsaritsa was once a Goddess of Love and maybe she bestowed Eula a Vision for her Love of her people and awareness of the injustice of her clan.

Eula's life is honestly pretty sad. Unloved by her family because she doesn't agree with their ideals and beliefs, ostracized by Mondstadt because she bears the last name of their oppressors when she's genuinely not like them. Glad Amber and the Knights saw her beyond her family and welcomed her.

I might be wrong but the dialogue during this mission seemed to show that she is a very kind person but the citizens hate her, so she acts so high and mighty because she doesn't want the others be bad people because they hate her. Like she says at the table "It's pointless for a bad person to act good" She doesn't think of herself as bad, but people won't think of her as good.

She’s probably just giving the people what they want so they’ll back off. If she tries to show the people she’s nice and is good at her job she’ll get accused of being fake or reminded of her status as a social pariah. If she fronts a big ego she doesn’t have to worry about any of that.

I have a better idea: Why not just ask Mihoyo to make main characters as an NPC when we're not using them and make them wandering in their own respective place? like Jean in her office, Klee bombing fish in starfell lake, Diluc being the bartender in Angel's share etc.

She is more than just thighs and butt. She is quirky, sarcastic, strong and proud for what she sees is right(having an Eye always on the Safety of the People of Mondstadt). She is basically one of the best written Character without the need to know her backstory to much like with Diluc and other Character

Eula might be one of the few people who can understand Fischl without the use of Oz. Also the way she replaces "I owe you" with "vengeance" is freaking Adorable.
Mihoyo did really well with Eula, at the beginning she looks like she's a classist like the rest of her clan and you're meant to dislike her, but at the end of the quest you learn that she's aware of the messed up things the clan did and went for a different path and she's actually quite nice

That God awful monolith quest took 5 years of my life, I used bennet and apparently his iconic getting thrown back move made me failed that challenge. And it took me like 10 times to complete that shit bc I got frozen even using shield smh
I don't know if he just didn't mention it but within the first conversation I already knew she was faking the vengeance thing. It might be because I'm quite the theatrical person so I was able to pick up her theatrics or what but it was very quick for me
Her storyline really made me come to love her so much. Her personality has many hidden secrets to it such as her meaning of vengeance depending on the context. What makes me really sad is thag the citizens don’t want to get to understand her and only judge her by her family name. I can only hope that she can find solace in the people who genuinely know her and accept her. I feel like this quest also tells us to be more open minded and find out more about the people we meet and interact with. Eula is amazing. She’s so pretty and will most likely be one of my favorites. Kudos to Amber for being the best too haha

I’m pretty sure Eula’s “vengeance” is just her way of saying a certain payback or deed. Example, if someone had given her some food for free out the kindness of their heart, she would say her vengeance line, but in reality she would be paying it back by doing the same thing. Or if someone, like the traveller, takes her bounty, she would most likely do the same to that person to make it even

I don't know if he just didn't mention it but within the first conversation I already knew she was faking the vengeance thing. It might be because I'm quite the theatrical person so I was able to pick up her theatrics or what but it was very quick for me
Her storyline really made me come to love her so much. Her personality has many hidden secrets to it such as her meaning of vengeance depending on the context. What makes me really sad is thag the citizens don’t want to get to understand her and only judge her by her family name. I can only hope that she can find solace in the people who genuinely know her and accept her. I feel like this quest also tells us to be more open minded and find out more about the people we meet and interact with. Eula is amazing. She’s so pretty and will most likely be one of my favorites. Kudos to Amber for being the best too haha

Or if someone, like the traveller, takes her bounty, she would most likely do the same to that person to make it even
