    The reason why the car leans to the left is because it has swag

    Car looks great like that indeed. The fact that you get 285 tires on the rear helps you get better traction on your drag races, well done !!

    • @ISFASTER
      @ISFASTER  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The majority of my videos are with my previous 275/245 tire setup. These new wider tires only have 150 miles on them. I’ll be taking them to the drag strip soon to see how they work out.

    Swift Springs drop the front .8”.
    Drops the rear .6”.
    How do you figure it will be lower in the rear?
    27” in rear and 26.75 front height w/ stock application.

    You should bring your car up to Irwindale Speedway for our Thursday night drags. I have a 2010 ISF and would be cool to check out your car, maybe get in a couple of runs. Keep posting the info content/racing and maybe we’ll see you in Irwindale soon. ✌🏻

      I’ve thought about it but the schedule doesn’t work that well with mine. I’ve heard the lines can be lengthy at times as well. I like running down in SD as I get a lot of runs in during a night. Hopefully ones of these days we can meet up, I always enjoy meeting other F owners! 😁👍🏻

    The gas tank would add extra weight to one side and thus cause it to be lower

    great video! question: what was the handling and ride quality difference with the 3 different tire widths? did 255 fronts make the suspension bouncy vs the 225?

    • @ISFASTER
      @ISFASTER  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don’t recall any of the sizes being anymore bouncy than another one. What I do know is the wider I went the more grip I had going into the corner. 225 were a joke!

  • @HY_LT
    @HY_LT 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    I can’t thank you enough for making this! Do the Swifts completely get rid of the wheel gap in the front and tuck the tires? Or is the gap just very small now? Thanks!!

    • @ISFASTER
      @ISFASTER  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You’re welcome. Glad to hear you found it useful. There is between 1-2 finger gap with the spring in the front and 255/35/19 tires on the front.

    How's the tire wear so far? Do you think you'll need a camber kit?

  • @bsandhu808
    @bsandhu808 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    It would be more accurate to measure from the center of the centercap of your wheels. Deformation of the tire and tire pressure can make your readings inaccurate. Great video!

    • @ISFASTER
      @ISFASTER  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you and thanks for the tip. The car has read this way with all 4 tires at the same pressure and with 2 different sets of tires. The current ones have only about 150 miles on them so I would hope they aren’t deformed. I’ve actually measured from the center cap as well and same thing. 😁

  • @jrizzyjoe
    @jrizzyjoe 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    What do you mean by bouncy? Does it feel stiffer? Or softer?

  • @jrveloria
    @jrveloria 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Nice, I'd like to ask you whats the actual drop for the swift springs. On Ebay measurement is 1 inch, take into factor of the engine's weight. I was comparing with Tien, and Megan , which would you recommend?

    • @ISFASTER
      @ISFASTER  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I believe that’s right for the front and the back was maybe .5 inches. They’re accurate to the advertised drop. I don’t have experience with those other springs but a lot of ISFs use the Swift springs.

    • @ISFASTER
      @ISFASTER  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven’t had any issues with the setup. No rubbing even during hard canyon driving. This information is only for my tires as it seems that tire sizes differ between manufacturers even though they read as the same size. Also, the 2012+ wheels are a 1/2 inch wider than the 2008-2011 wheels.

    • @ISFASTER
