Thank you for breaking down the braiding hair colors, textures, as well as, choices of hair to use that are antibacterial and hypoallergenic. It's important to know exactly what goes into the pricing for braids to get what you want.
I honestly thank you for all your helpful videos. You are indeed amazing. I watch your videos from Nigeria and we do not have many professional braiding schools here. I have started my braiding business and I'm grateful for your detailed teachings and help.....I love you so much❤
This braiding customer thanks you tremendously for this video. You explained hair length, excellent coverage of colors & textures. Never knew about antibacterial hair. Exceptional knowledge & wisdom. TY TY 🤗🤗🤗
Thank you so much!! I had sent a message saying I wanted to book an appointment with you, but was worried about itching. I didn’t know Anti-Bacterial braiding hair exists!! I can’t wait to go back to protective styles! 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽
This video was very helpful to me in learning the different types per brand of hair. I also prefer the same brands as well. I am a former braider that has returned and recently licensed. I want to be able to tell my future clients the information in this video Thank you for sharing. ❤
My daughter is allergic to most braiding hair except Queen B. I find it’s good to work with and I haven’t dealt with fly aways. It’s soft yet enough texture to grip.
Love your videos! You’ve helped me so much. I’ve always struggled with with brand to use. I was wondering what are your thoughts on the TZ Braiding hair?
I know you talked about the 72 inch hair but I’m wondering if you had any issues with it tangling a lot. I used it the other day and found it tangled so much and it took me longer but I was constantly having to run my finger down the braid to detangle it and sometimes I had to cut the knot out. LMK if you have any tips for this issue!
I'm trying to make DE dreads but have half be braided. Can you give me some tips on what hair to use and techniques of how to make and seal them? Help me please it's my first time.
How do I find wholesalers. I just started found your channel and teaching myself how to braid. Where do I find wholesalers for braiding hair? Love your content and your school.
Love your channel! Serious question. Would you recommend soaking the hair regardless of anti itch etc just to be on the safe side and reduce the chemical intake or off gassing? Or is there a brand that doesn't have harsh chemicals? I love my braids but trying to reduce the toxins in life.
Hi Ms Vandy. Thanks for the wealth of information. Looking for a professional opinion about grey hair. I'm 55 and absolutely love protective styles, mostly braids, crochet, and twists. I'd like your opinion on color choices for grey roots. My hair is primarily 1B. I'd like to wear my style a little longer but my roots grey after apprx 4weeks. I don't care for dye. What color might I use to camouflage the grey?
Might as well embrace the grey. 😁 There are a lot of great grey crochet looks. If you want to get braids you’ll be looking at the colors 51 which is a full grey or 60 which is a salt n pepper. Sometime blending the two are a good match as well. I honestly can’t wait to be a silver mama! 😃
I love love your videos. I’m learning a lot from your videos since I just started braiding my hair. What hairstyle would you recommend for going on vacation for 3 weeks.
Can you talk about Ruwa hair and why you do or don't like it comparee to Xpressions? I see so many braiders say they only use that brand, so just curious about your thoughts on it. Thanx!
I’m not the biggest fan of Ruwa because it doesn’t come in a large range of colors and lengths. It also has kind of a weird waxy texture and doesn’t really come with as much hair in 1 pack. That hair isn’t easily accessible where I am but know cities with larger beauty supplies carry more of it.
I have just started doing my hair in twist due to thinning. I was told to soak my hair in white vinegar for a few hours, rinse well and let it dry overnight. Is this a good practice?
The reason why people do this is because braiding hair is treated with chemicals that some people have a bad reaction to (itchy scalp), the vinegar rinse actually does help with that.
Yes vinegar helps remove the alkaline lye from the hair. If you want to skip that step, look for anti-itch or antibacterial hair. I briefly covered this in the video.
Most legit wholesale vendors will have a MOQ (minimum order quantity) typically $500+/ order. Prices should reflect wholesale at about 50-70% retail. I really like 4uHair Unlimited because it black owned, hair is straight from manufacture and shipping is really fast.
Can never go wrong with Freetress, Outre, azure, BobbiBoss or Toyotress or any of the ones featured in the Amazon store ( those I actually tried and reviewed)
I have and it can be really difficult to find human hair high quality enough or long enough to actually feed in. We typically resort to cutting hair off of tracks.
I wished you had expanded on the full range of the colors as there are many more and I sometimes don't know the difference. But this was helpful thank you for this. ☺️
42 and 52 is definitely too long for midback that’s why everybody is so confused with lengths and sizes because people just making up stuff …. Midback is bra-strap length the middle of your back
How many hair Braid pkts is needed to complete a head?

I like how you break everything down. Do you use Ruwa hair?
My daughter is allergic to most braiding hair except Queen B. I find it’s good to work with and I haven’t dealt with fly aways. It’s soft yet enough texture to grip.
Great video! Have you ever crocheted any of this hair? If so, which did you like the best?

Thanks for this video and information!! 🤗🤗🤗
This was very helpful…Thank you!!!
What brand of x-pression hair is good for 4c hair
The #27 crochet hair you can look into 27 yellow pack Sensationnel or the 27/30 ruwa 24” could blend better than the Outre #27.
Yay congratulations!😊🌹
Love your videos! You’ve helped me so much. I’ve always struggled with with brand to use. I was wondering what are your thoughts on the TZ Braiding hair?
Super informative. Thank you

Yes!!! It yacks up a whole lot!!! I thought it was the brand but now that you said the length, that might have been the problem too!!!
I just spray sheen on it comb threw it before i start pulling my hair apart and its fine pink moisturizer or Revlon sheen in the Red can
I do like Outre Expressions, it doesn’t yack up as much as these other brands
Hi dear what kinda of had do you used for your client?

Could you do a video on marley hair one day?
I sure can!
Hey, I loved this video 😊 I would like to know please, which hair is the best for crochet open curls? Which is the best that is not tangling?
Freetress ringlet wand curl, or soft baby curl. Those are my favorite go to’s
Thanks a lot for your reply ❤️
I love love your videos. I’m learning a lot from your videos since I just started braiding my hair. What hairstyle would you recommend for going on vacation for 3 weeks.
Definitely box braids, Knotless or faux Locs. They hold up well with water activities.
@@VandyVanity thank you so much. I look forward to seeing more of your videos.
Can you talk about Ruwa hair and why you do or don't like it comparee to Xpressions? I see so many braiders say they only use that brand, so just curious about your thoughts on it. Thanx!
I have found that ruwa brand has lees hair in each bundles
I’m not the biggest fan of Ruwa because it doesn’t come in a large range of colors and lengths. It also has kind of a weird waxy texture and doesn’t really come with as much hair in 1 pack. That hair isn’t easily accessible where I am but know cities with larger beauty supplies carry more of it.
I have just started doing my hair in twist due to thinning. I was told to soak my hair in white vinegar for a few hours, rinse well and let it dry overnight. Is this a good practice?
Yep! I use apple cider vinegar and do the same

What about ruwa
That freetree one makes me itch
Love the video! Excellent content as usual. I was wondering if you could recommend a good hair brand for crochet hair. Thanks!

Just curious if you ever work with real human hair to feed into braids?
I have and it can be really difficult to find human hair high quality enough or long enough to actually feed in. We typically resort to cutting hair off of tracks.
What about “Nala Tress”
Nana has great crochet hair.
i m Haitian and I start branding to become a Braider thanks but i don't understand much english😂
I wished you had expanded on the full range of the colors as there are many more and I sometimes don't know the difference. But this was helpful thank you for this. ☺️
