Thanks for telling this story. I first became aware of this plane decades ago with a single photo and not much info in a magazine. Only after watching this did I find out the WeeBee had flaps and foot operated rudder like most other aircraft.
Great content, i really enjoyed learning about the wee bee . I didn't know that it existed and found this inspireing !!! Thank you sincerely, i have subscribed and I'm looking forward to seeing future content.. GOD BLESS from me Way Down Under in New Zealand 👍 P.S it's very sad to learn the wee bee was destroyed in a fire , it's a great loss .. I'd love to have one 🤗 totally cool little plane . I'd love to see more tiny aircraft like the SKY BABY ...
@@Rob1970s Thank you so much for your kind words and blessings! I'm glad you enjoyed the video, i appreciate your support and encouragement. It means a lot to me.
Correction: engine wasn't Continental C-85 (it would be enormous for that airplane!). It was a Kiekhaefer O-45-35 flat twin with 30 hp. Its weight was only 35 lbs! The information about the propeller is also wrong.
@@InformationAboutFlyingObjects You are so insulting and sanctimonious in your response to RobertoMOLA when you refer to the information he gave as his " opinion ". He is in fact completely CORRECT . The C85 is a 4 cylinder and has a DRY weight of 180 pounds . Even a CHILD can see the Wee Bee has a tiny 2 cylinder engine and not the big 4 cylinder that YOU claim it has. Its little wonder that with an attitude like yours , that your channel is so few subscribers and views. . Please look up the definition of " The Dunning Kruger effect " for some self reflection.
@@RobertoRMOLA Also, there are two types of Wee Bee, a Wee Bee that has three wheels and a Wee Bee that has two front wheels and in this video I provide information about the Wee Bee aircraft that has 2 wheels.
@@InformationAboutFlyingObjects If that is the case then understand I don't mean this to be offensive; I had so much difficulty understanding what was being said that I didn't finish watching it. I don't think the video or information is bad, but the narration is a big problem.
Gross weight of 550 pounds and max total take-off weight of 600 pounds - not only the plane but also the pilot must have been tiny and light-weight. Or you take off with empty tanks... ;-)
Not to mention that the engine he CLAIMS ( incorrectly )to be on the Wee Bee ( the C85 ) has a fuel consumption rate of 5.4 us gallons per hour and an oil consumption rate of . 4 us quarts per hour , one needs to ask ... where the hell did this guy get his information ????
