trying to figure out your drawing with using the led strip in the bookcase. You said you put a diffuser on not to see the light? I don't see you did that I just see the strip? Perhaps you cut out a groove in the bookcase? Also when lighitng under cabinets is it better in front, middle or back? same question with bookcases ( library ) where to put the strip?
Hi there, on the drawing it shows a groove detail cut into the shelf to hold the profile with the linear strip in and then a diffuser would go on top of the profile to diffuse the light for an even wash and no dotting. When lighting under cabinets the positioning depends on the distance from from the cabinet to the floor and what profile/detail is being used in the joinery so would need to be considered on that basis. With libraries, if purely books on the shelving with attractive covers or spines, we would usually advise to place the linear strip at the front to wash across the front of books. Hope that helps and if you need help with a project do get in touch to discuss.
Great tips. I'm a cinematographer and product photographer, I found this very useful! I need to pick up some of those strip LEDs for my kit.
Thank you, so glad to hear you found it useful!
Less is more when it comes to design. Those dots look much better than an led strip which can give a cheap look. Great video ❤
Glad you like the Vorsa Dots - they're a great discreet solution for joinery to highlight those special objects!
oh those tiny spots are brilliant, way batter than any GU10 or GU9 etc AND nicer than LED strips which are everywhere,
Glad to hear you love the Minim!
Thanks
