Thank you. I rode the Dragon on my 2010 fatboy lo, but I am looking at a 2016 Indian Chief, and I want to convert it to a tank shift. Watching you ride the dragon with one made me nervous, but also sealed the deal for me. Im so doing this.
Nice Ride , I’ve done this Dragon on my dresser a couple of times with my wife on the back . But I restored a 46 Chief about 20 years ago but it short and finished it off as a period correct Bobber . It’s times like the Dragon when a 4th gear would be nice , I’m working on a 54 Panhead now . Great Video , thanks for sharing !
Thanks Ed, The first Indian I ever rode was left-hand throttle so I know I could do it, but opp for right-hand when I built this one. I do have plan's to build another one day that will be left-hand. Thanks for watching and the comment.
How's that ? Mine had the throttle on the left and shift lever on the right. Seems the same model though. Was there ever an Indian Clubman, a little shorter bike?
What time of the year and what day of the week did you ride that with no traffic, please inform. I'm heading to Tennessee in October. And be meeting up with the bunch of my buddies. I haven't seen for 30 years, definitely gonna do the Tell of the dragon
Looks like driving a truck from the 18th century. I know it doesn‘t exist, but the dynamics of a potato stuck in a bucket full of screws can‘t be much different. Even though, I believe those bikes can be more fun than that.
It probably doesn’t work. Just having it there is half the battle . Keeps a 75+ year old Speedo and cable In working order isn’t the easiest thing to do . Not everyone can fix them .
Thanks to all that have left comments, Not many videos on the AMCA Page get that, so I feel honored.
the best view for a biker ;-)
That's a real art riding those roads with a tank shift.
This was my first time riding The Dragon with a tank shift bike. I'm ready to go back!
What do think about the brakes ?
Beautiful machine
Thanks Derek, I had a video posted here of the build I did of this bike but it disappear

Nice riding, I could never get used to left hand throttle either

Add windshield if you enjoy hearing a lot more valve clatter.

I’ve ridden the tail of the dragon…… suicide shift and drum brakes are you crazy? Nicely done!

The speedo's not moving?

No one of my two Chief have a Corbin Speedo working for ever. It’s not a reliable speedo.
Rode the dragon on my 74 shovel. Went something like this
