I used to hear this on the radio 50 years ago. Had to become almost a detective to remember details and eventually find this piece. Lovely. Uplifting. It is trilling of this piece I really like.
This is one piece of music that I was taught to play when I was about 10 years old. Now that I am in the departure lounge, I still get great pleasure playing this for people who know this and a new beginning for those who dont know it.
Ahh! Mum's piano pupils used to ask her to teach them this. She was not that keen. I listened to many struggling versions of this through the wall from the music room next door in my childhood home over the years! Remembering those times on the planet. May we return to harmony and balance and love and peace. xxx
I listened to your rendition of this classic on the 41st anniversary of my father's death. And it brought tears to my eyes. My father, his sister and my sister were (and is) the only people I knew who could play this song. My father and his sister are no longer with us, but their memories live on, in this song, for me. My sister still plays, and will one day play this song for me again. Thank you.
what great joy this brings me, I have searched for years to hear it again, last time was in my childhoodsome 45 years ago. My mother always turned it up a little louder so it echoed through the house. Thank you so much.
My dear Grandmother played this piece for me often, when I was young. Until her hands and fingers became too stiff to play anymore...When she passed away I took her music sheets from her piano-stool.. 50 years later I still have them. This lovely music always brings tears to my eyes, and I can see her sitting playing in my mind..
It was so good to hear this piece of music again after so many years. I used to play it when I was still in my teens - long time ago! Thanks for sharing it. God bless.
Thank you! My mother used to play this for my father... Brings back beautiful memories from more than 50 years ago. Thank you so much! ❤️

I love this piece. It has always stirred something deep inside me, ever since I was about 4 years old, and that's nearly 60 years ago!

My Nana played this all the time throughout my childhood, it was one of her favourite pieces and she played it absolutely beautifully.

Remember ... never forget.
Remember ... never forget,
Oh yes! Me too!
My 78 of Gill Desch playing Remembrance was stolen 45 years ago. It is the most delicate piano piece. I must download it.
Gil Dech was a wonderful addition to the New Zealand music scene. His version was played on Sunday radio requests for decades.
My nan used to play this and Robin's return so beautifully.
thanks for this......so enjoyed it. :):):)
Beautiful. I searched this for my wife, Ingrid, who is learning to play it. A wonderful rendition.
