Hi Philip. Till now, all the credit of my GRE preparation goes to you. There's just one topic I struggle with, it's data interpretation and graph questions, that too difficult ones not the easier ones. I have my exam in September. Please make a video on that 🥺. Also, thankyou so much for these videos 💓

I also make sure I do data questions last, because some take pretty much time to solve.

I really suck at maths, I always have been. However, since I've started binge-watching your videos. I'm really grasping everything.
For instance, I was able to solve all three of them while pausing at the start. Thank you so much, Philip you're changing lives here :')

There's a theorem in our higher secondary math book, where it's proven that in a traingle, ratio of each angle by it's opposite side are same. Use that tricks and voilà

  • @adityasurve3062

Is it necessary for it to be a right angled triangle?

  • @kingmtv2857
    @kingmtv2857 2 ปีที่แล้ว

I have a small doubt on the topic, concerning the last question. Doesn't the law of sines say the ratio of the sides is the ratio of the sines of the opposite angles? And by that logic, the ratio of the sides should be sin(55)/sin(35)? Please correct me, if I'm wrong.

  • @likithkumar957

Hi Philip quick question, is big book TC question worth practicing? Like is it a good source to practice the complexity of sentences figuring out the logic etc? Can you please help me out

hello Sir, it is okay that the opposite arc of the greater angle is bigger, but in the diagram of the problem started at 2:30 , here in the diagram it looks like PQ arc is bigger than QR, is that a visibility issue or there may be some problem in the arc?
    Can you please explain!!

  • @altalks1419

I've noticed something funny, these GRE guys seem to draw the smaller side as bigger, so if it looks smaller its probably bigger xD

Another trick: The length of arc YZ is twice the angle formed at X. So, here angle at X is 55° which implies, arc YZ = 110 units.
However, if the angle is formed at the center, the length of the arc remains the same as that of the central angle.
    Hope it helps someone.

    1. Im proud to report Im not one of your students who fell for this trick ( pats self on back )
    2. @3:09 angle opposite diameter is 90 degrees ( I did 180- (sum of 2 interior angles )
    3. I also got the last question right , even though I’m not aiming for 170 , but if it is my destiny so be it
Sensei: I believe your work is complete. I’m ready ( bows humbly)
