Good Video, I live in japan and also went to a Highschool here and dated Japanese girls and to get the attention and going on a date with them is not so difficult, but like even if you speak well Japanese there are so many factors wich makes it really hard for a longer term relationship like culture and behavior and it is really not that easy I can tell you from my experience

2 they never tell us what mistakes we would make, even though it is the only solution to improve us in front of them

4 they insult us behind the back without seeking to know us more and they refuse to talk about themselves
5 and they are too serious , they only swears by work-work in their life and by their rules

@Jamel Carpenter Except for these couples, usually the foreigner needs to learn Japanese and about their culture and move to Japan and not the other way around.
It's kind of rare to see Japanese women to actually put in the effort of learning English and actually wanting to move out of Japan. They usually want a Japanese man with a foreign mask on, so to speak, when they say they'd date a foreigner.

Interesting answers from the young ladies you interviewed. Most said they would date a foreigner, but not marry one. With the Ladies answers about foreigners are more romantic, what does that make the Japanese men look like to them. Do they get treated more harshly by Japanese men?? I guess we will never know the full story about dating Japanese women.
I do know it is the Culture differences far as trying to get more involved with dating Foreigners and having long term relationships. Also their families could have some issues on what they believe is the right thing to do

the frame of reference about foreigners for all these girls are Hollywood movies or K-dramas, what a puny (and fictional) frame of reference.
