Looks early in some shots. Great shooting as usual. I was looking at it on the satilitte maps and its looks as though they have considerable trackage. Rob
Thanks ever so much Rob. Oh yes, 8:30 for the first one. They do have a fair bit. Only about 3 miles at the moment I think, though there are plans for a future extension, as the track bed is clear nearly all the way to Bath one way and Bristol the other.
as ever mate top stuff. i don't know how we never bumped into each other judging by your footage i think i was always a little ahead of you as the only time saw you was when i went past the crossing near oldland you was on the path and i was on the local returning to bitton maybe next time. was a great event and a great line. i will paying a return visit at some point so must thank you as has been your videos that made me want to get down there. if you get a chance my video is up if you fancy a watch

Funny you say that, as we were thinking we were the only ones filming that day, couldn't see anyone else with a camera, so really was strange we never ran into each other :) Was that the top and tail local? Ah yes, was that with Portbury? Just seen that you posted your video and got it in my to watch list. Will watch it as soon as I got some free time :)
Yer i noticed same not many people with cameras the most i saw were at bitton obviously, yer did seem by looking at both our videos i seemed to be a few yards ahead of where you must of been. I think it was portburys local going to oldland common think charwelton took it back to bitton not long after i got back it tipped it down with rain was held up in cafe for what felt like ages so you may have gone past then maybe
Yes, it tipped down just as we got back. I waited on the platform outside the ticket offices to see Sapper and Portbury off to Riverside, before calling it a day ;)
Great vid Callum! You've certainly been off your feet lately! 3 galas in 2 weeks wow! Sapper was ok when it was at ELR but it's far too quiet for me especially with it being an Austerity :)

Brilliant event! Some very cool little locos there! The all grey livey was very interesting, im keeping that inspiration for a future project! And the bright green one, similar to USA tanks?

Oh yes, the Polish Tank. What a Machine! Yep, based on that very design. The noise it makes it quite something when she's really working ;)
