Potato on his parenting take...he's not wrong. So many don't raise their kids, they just let them grow up. If you have the worry of doing it right, you are already ahead of the game.
As a parent, and having observed other parents (mine and my wife's especially), I can say the one single thing that I've seen separate "good" parents from "bad" is if you care to improve. Everyone makes mistakes no matter how "ready" you feel, but do you care to apologize to your kids and do better? They will love you more and be better people more from that than anything else you do ❤ (I did have to learn this somewhat the hard way)
Man I haven't seen Age of Wonders since the first one, which I loved the hell out of. Interesting to see how things change, but also stay the same. It was a great framework from the start.
wise words @potato. i have a 4 year old and the best thing every day is the joy of my kid when i come home. pure love and its easy to be a good parent just by beeing a good example. kids are like sponges, they will behave like you in early days and develope later their experiences
1:53:19 Adept skills do affect affinity if the hero is governor of a city, though I think it's just by 1 or 2 points, with the full 3 points only applying to knowledge income. Might be misremembering something there, but I think that was it.
This game reminds of an advanced version of heroes of might and magic… but like back when it was good, heroes 4? Or was it 3? Can’t remember. But this looks like the proper spiritual successor as opposed to the direction the actual franchise took.
Awww, you could've picked one of two new forms and create race from it, Syron, and name them like in old days, Hymen (High Men). Or you could've picked bugs with tittles, so many possibilities.

Does anyone have a solution for the massive number of mountains in this game? Also, the «massive map» official mod just seems to spread everything (enemy spawns, places of interest, resources) out a lot, which really defeats the purpose.

I noticed a bug when making race name where you can’t put spaces in the update FYI
that weird glitch is a programming bug not because of your v-card (it also does this on a 4090 to a lesser extent though)
