At the back of the car seat , you unhook the straps and pull them right out to put into the new hole then hook it back up , how it was 😀 hope that helps
This is the worst car seat ever. It’s difficult to put a baby in it, it’s difficult to position a baby right, it’s difficult to fasten the belts, baby hates it, mommy hates it as well. It just left a bruise on my baby’s leg, I just hate this car seat.

It does need adaptors on the joie buggy. I have this
