room sketch has been such a life saver for house decorating. i used to use harv's, but it was too much of a hassle not being able to resize the rooms and i stopped using it entirely. couldn't imagine trying to decorate indoors without being able to use anything from the catalogue or seeing different customisations before i actually go and buy the things i need. i even consider using room sketch to plan ideas for outdoors now, if theres something that i want to look very specific, rather than more go with the flow
I suggest the orange floor you have, but keep the blue wall set up you had before you changed it!! Fun contrast

When it comes to decorating interiors, using specific furniture sets can help. The patchwork set has a lot of really cute patterns that I think you would like! Also, it helps to build with a specific color or theme in mind for the room. Use your favorites!

Might sound dumb but I used to put a lot of pressure on myself in this game to stick to the cottagecore vibes and the soft aesthetic. seeing you do this and your hhp builds is making me so happy because they look so lived in and warm! Definitely gonna let myself use more colours 😌😌 also might yoink some ideas 😇

My main room is the Mario Bros home, a combo of the Mario RPG Pipe House, and the Paper Mario version of the Bros home. Back room always changes, a dig site right now.
Maybe you could do a little corner for the cockroach just how in Wall-e the creature has one! It would be the first time I see a player do one hahah.

My bedroom is in my upstairs with a little fake en suite. But my basement has all the Halloween items in it so it's this dark, spooky, haunted space to, ya know, summon demons and such. Like ya do.

I made my attic an actual attic, and it was SO FUN to make!! It's also very helpful for those who have full storage.

You should try using the room design app on the nook phone to decorate your rooms first then you know exactly what items you need to order. Total game changer for me my houses were empty before I did this

Your game room is SO different than mine. I did a dark cyber punk moment. Yours is so realistic to a real game room
Usually for me, the wallpaper and flooring don't match my actual furniture. For example, if I'm using lots of whites and pastels, I'll use really dark wooden walls and floors to help the furniture pop and make it look really nice.

you could always mess around on the room sketch nookphone app and then order/customize all the items you use on that! thats what i do

My favourite way to plan a room for my house is the room sketch app. Then I order everything I am missing. Much easier for me. Maybe you could do the same

No literally, that's why I hate gyroids now, I created a room filled with them thinking it'd be funny and I literally felt too overstimulated to even go in because of the sounds and movements 😭😭 it was like a horror movie
