I once took a semi-gloss coat to an Undisputed replica I had at the time. That also gave it a more realistic shine compared to the real thing.

Great video Hazardf5! I used a $10 spray can of clear coat on my shoprine and it looks amazing!!! Plus the clear coat adds a layer of protection on the plates. I'm not a professional but I do have some experience in spray painting and I can say even a novice can pull this off. If you're still unsure, there are plenty of how to spay paint videos on TH-cam to get you started.

I guess I could always get it releathered, but that's quite expensive.
at the cheapest end of big gold crumrines, adding leather is still cheaper than GG, Lux, CS and more. and you dont have to get top of line leather, i would 100% feel good upgrading this and being under $800, 100% no brainer and the best BG you can get!

@Hazardf5 Thanks for posting this. I got some clear coat like you used and the difference is night and day. I taped off the strap and layered the coats just like you did and it is so damn gorgeous. I’ll have to save up to get a proper leather belt and maybe destined as well (down the road, this was my first belt purchase since the WWE Undisputed V2 belt back in 2003.

thats more than huge, its an IMMENSE difference. The one big thing that made me not consider buying this was the look. It looked plastic like; toy like. but now, dam! Thats looks superb, dam now i want to order one when they get back in stock!

@@showstopper247 you know what sucks, I purchased the WCW WHC belt on impulse before doing any research into this hobby as my first belt and I find out they were expecting a Crumrine release shortly afterwards so luckily I was able to send it back after having it for like a month or so and by the time I got my refund deposited into the account, it was sold out!

In case my last comment got deleted, the shoprine after the clear coat looks alot better. For the clear spray did you use a high gloss, medium gloss or satin finish?
Someone else recommended never dull, but I myself have never used it and I don't want it to be like a brasso situation where it strips the plating off.
I currently don't have one in my collection yet but hopefully I will have one and try this out when I do.
Just standard gloss finish clear coat

Letters have been changed to match in size but the plating still isn't as shiny as it is on mine after the clear coat

@hazardf5 was just wondering for those who have the the newer Shop replica of the WWE Hardcore replica would this clear coat work on those plates as it’s plates have a Matt finish, I don’t have the replica myself but for those who do maybe it could be handy for them (P.S I’m writing this 2 minutes into the video, so if you mention it later in the video I apologise)
If its matt then yes theis should have the same effect on it
All it needs is the bend at the top and it’ll be perfect 😅

You could but unlike the crumrine big gold, the big Eagle already has clear coat and an nice shine
