Lol people are actually mad about this album. These guys have completely created a completely new type of metal, literally no other band sounds like this, and no one could even hope to emulate it. The skill this would require to produce is a level beyond talented or gifted, the technicality is breath taking, and that is by necessity, not for the sake of showing off. No other style of playing would produce a sound like this. Each riff tries to create an atmosphere, some sort of concept, this really is alien, and far ahead of it's time. When was the last time a band did something this different? When was the last time someone stood up and actually created what is essentially a new genre of music? Or at the very least completely evolved an existing style into something like this? You can dislike this music, sure, but you can not possibly have the sheer fucking hubris and stupidity to discount the unbelievable talent of these guys. This is like the fucking Moonlanding of music, it has never been done before. Without exception every single person who actually complains about this is either a traditionalist death metal fanboy whose favourites list consists entirely of Necrophagist and In Flames or a bitter 14 year old guitarist who never learned how to sweep pick. I hope this album does well, these boys deserve it for all the flak they've copped for doing something different. I hope they keep at it.
This is what I've been saying, NO ONE and literally no one has a sound like they have created. They are FAR beyond the time of metal they are in. The atmosphere they elude is magnificently otherworldly. They just get better and better and will continue to I know that. Anyone can say what they want cause people have a right to their own opinions and i know not everyone will like it or certain aspects of it but this is beyond godly and no one can deny their talent, imagination and creativity. Its mind boggling what they keep coming up with and Mark Coopers art is perfect for them which makes me love em even more. This band just gets better and better. Definitely one of a kind. Innovators.

Dude, I'm at Godless Times at the moment. And I'm already saying bravo. One of my favorite albums now. I need to see this live. Keep it up. Let metal live on!
Lucas I legit hope you read this somehow even though this video is from last year, the new album Ulta is coming soon and yall are about to go on tour again. The I would like to truly congratulate you on the level of guitar musicianship you've gained over the years. I started listening at Abnormality and was hooked ever since, Ive followed you through the thick and thin since 2010 and always respected and learned from your playing (esp the few lesson videos youve made). I very very much enjoy videos like this where you absolutely wreck an already well known video game song. Even though Inadequate and Parallel Shift have given me mixed emotions, I have no doubt the album is going to blow everyone away. I have seen RIngs multiple times in southeastern va and my expectations were blown away both times. Perhaps you remember me, the heavy set gentleman at Shakas live in VA the got all of yous signatures on a frisbee and couldnt stop talking up ypu guys haha. I sincerely hope you guys booked SHakas again, yall turned the show out everytime even though you were opening for TAIM and Fallujah either time. A full on riot broke out during the coffin dragger tour in VB and yall just kept playing, funny af lol. You have many fans here, VB loves you. I would love to hear the megaman X1 intro song played by Lucas. Cheers mates. Also I would love to be able to add you on fb instead of just following so I can comment, I love everything about ROS and I understand that its your baby, I only want to be more personal with you and ROS. Cheers.
Welp. I pretty much just listen to mainstream music, and I was watching TH-cam videos on our solar system, and Rings of Saturn popped up with a psychadelic looking thumbnail. ...AAAAnd... I literally have no words for this. Edit: yes, I am now a fan for all you asking lol. I'm mostly a blackened/doom guy, also I appreciate good tech death or death core. Favorite band is currently Harakiri for the Sky.
The drums are played by Aaron Stechauner, although in his playthrough it says that the drums were written by Ashton Kutcher before he joined. Not sure if it's the same actor guy, tho
"Infused" is definitely my favorite song. This is by far, one of the heaviest, and fast-paced, yet good-quality album I have heard in a while. Keep up the good work :P
I must say. You boys are so humble. You basicly in a way gave your new album away to your fans. Thats fucking amazing and I have even more respect for all of you guys now. Thank you so much for this upload and my gift to you will be buying this as soon as i have the money. Thank you again and Im getting all you dudes baked as fuck if and when you come close to the Upstate NY region.
I listen to almost every genre of rock/metal and have played guitar and drums for more than a decade... First time listening to this band and honestly I am impressed, they realy take the Technical genre to another level. I would really like to see them playing live one day. Respect! (I apologize for my bad english)
What a timeless masterpiece of an album. So glad Joel Omans is back in the band that was the best guitar duo yet, imo. One of the elements that makes this such a masterpiece of the album, even compared to the others is that Aaron Kitcher wrote the drums, which I think was one of the most crucial elements to making this the masterpiece it is. It ads so many layers of rhythmic changes on top of whats already brilliant compositions. What I would do for another Aaron Kitcher collab it was perfection. Seriously Lucas, use Aaron Kitcher on fucking everything this is platinum to the 100th degree!!!!
it's one of the band members. I know it is, just not sure which one. singer believes he was abducted by aliens, hence the subject matter. but cool shit. fitting.
After 1 full run through this album, it instantly became my favorite release of 2014 with "Blackout" by Affiance being #2. Every split second of this album is spot on and gruesome. Who was that vocal clip at the end??? He sounds so familiar.
DeathxStarx187 he may have been an idiot but his vocals and music inspired lots , no need to be so aggressive against someone who cant defend himself #should have seen that poll
Listening to this album after just smoking a bowl I can say....this is some next level shit you guys are doing here. You raised the bar, in my opinion. But that's all it is, my opinion. I know someone will disagree with me in some way or another lmao. Two thumbs way up.
They've raised it ever since Dingir, imo, but this album takes Dingir to a whole nother universe. You can tell they're starting to grow whole and stay to their uniqueness, unlike a lot of other bands after a few albums. As long as they're around, they'll continue to raise the bar imo.

+Ivan Cruz (Hatake3000) One does not simply fall asleep to aliencore. Lmaoo
+Ivan Cruz (Hatake3000) Only if it's weird that this album gives me a boner.
The mix and the melody of it are really easy to fall asleep to
I've also fallen asleep to this many times lol
*THE CHRISTOPHER WALKEN CURB STOMP EXPERIENCE*
+Electric Flow (Igamer) #mindblown
needs to tour with danza imo
Winning
I gotta say that I really enjoyed this album man, keep it up.
Cheers.
what episode of drake and josh is this?
the one where Drake and Josh get stuck in the tree house
"you had one job!"
don't forget the squirrel that bites him when he tries to tie the note to it
the one where they trick Megan into believing that aliens exist.
is this like a joke i'm not understanding or was there an actual drake and josh episode with RoS or its reference in there?
Favorite band is currently Harakiri for the Sky.
well this is better than any mainstream music I know
+Pedro Santa Ana true that
+Worthless Garbage true

I think Lugal Ki En is one of the most awesome albums in this genre.
Couldn't agree more, this album just rips.
Still rips 7 years later let’s goo
plot twist: is the only album on this genre
Well you completely obliterated my expectations for this album. It's officially my favorite album. Luv u bb
This band is so good it gives me some good chuckles
I never knew Ashton Kutcher played drums…so well too
Shut the fuck up.
I loved that 70s show and punk'd and stuff!
Hmmm can't tell if joking
Joking about what? lol
The drums are played by Aaron Stechauner, although in his playthrough it says that the drums were written by Ashton Kutcher before he joined. Not sure if it's the same actor guy, tho
Aging like fine wine
My friend got me into this band last week. I am now eternally grateful for him.
+Alex Mort some other awesome tech death bands are archspire, revocation, cephalic carnage, and the black dahlia murder
Same.
oh rings of saturn, gonna check them out
first 5 minutes - my new favorite band
Aaron Kitcher doing drums makes sense why they're so amazing. It's badass.
Wait it’s Aaron?
only a genius like him can program drums like this (which is why this is my favourite ros album as it has the best drums imo)
It’s programmed
@@truemenentoflife1721 It's programmed but that doesn't stop crazy people from being able to play it, there's some super talented people out there
I Love Rings Of Saturn
That breakdown though... 1:25
Sick as hell.
8 years later, did you buy the album?
They better come to Colombia or other latin countries, we also enjoy this piece of artwork
The Heavens Have Fallen is such a trip of a song. Jesus Christ...
I listen to almost every genre of rock/metal and have played guitar and drums for more than a decade... First time listening to this band and honestly I am impressed, they realy take the Technical genre to another level. I would really like to see them playing live one day. Respect! (I apologize for my bad english)
dude, this deserves way more views. been my favorite band for a little while now \m/
Natural Selection makes me feel so happy :)
Anybody else listen to this while running/working out?
Yup
+Drink Me So are we related?
+Clorox Bleach yes
yes
I am downloading this album tomorrow for the gym. Heavy lifting
Just discovered you guys last week and I am a big fan! Thanks for the awesome music
What a timeless masterpiece of an album. So glad Joel Omans is back in the band that was the best guitar duo yet, imo. One of the elements that makes this such a masterpiece of the album, even compared to the others is that Aaron Kitcher
wrote the drums, which I think was one of the most crucial elements to making this the masterpiece it is. It ads so many layers of rhythmic changes on top of whats already brilliant compositions. What I would do for another Aaron Kitcher collab it was perfection. Seriously Lucas, use Aaron Kitcher on fucking everything this is platinum to the 100th degree!!!!
agree. Aaron writes great drums parts.
Agreed 100000%
20:48 this part makes me so happy
I've listening to this over and over again this album is that good
Besides this awesome music, can I just say how awesome this album art is.
this artwork is awesome your graphist is a genius
it's one of the band members. I know it is, just not sure which one. singer believes he was abducted by aliens, hence the subject matter. but cool shit. fitting.
first time I might actually believe someone when they say they were abducted by aliens@@thesweetestprice
just the tone of this album will never be matched again.
After 1 full run through this album, it instantly became my favorite release of 2014 with "Blackout" by Affiance being #2. Every split second of this album is spot on and gruesome. Who was that vocal clip at the end??? He sounds so familiar.
Mitch Lucker
No one should be inspired by that idiot...
DeathxStarx187 he may have been an idiot but his vocals and music inspired lots , no need to be so aggressive against someone who cant defend himself #should have seen that poll
Yep he inspired a lot of people i cannot stand.
DeathxStarx187 well he inspired me , he was my first ever screaming vocalist and I just really enjoyed it
Lalassu Xul and The Heavens Have Fallen... Soo damn beautiful!
First album I listened to by Rings and I find myself coming back to it all the time!
12:41 until 14:00 is exactly why i love metal. the heavy. the melodic. the epic....
the beginning to unsympathetic intellect reminds me of some music id hear in Ratchet and Clank.
ikr?
Sounds a bit like Chelsea grin for some reason
Whenever i listen to this album it inspires me to actually learn how to sweep pick.

"records" hahahaha
Been Listening to this shit for years! Never gets old!!!!!
I disagree on you! I don't think you have an opinion, you're too busy being blown away.
20:00 is so god damn groovey
Wow, first time I've ever heard of this band, I stumble upon this album. I think it's a genuine masterpiece.
11:34 - 11:48 reallyy mindblowing solo lol
Do an acoustic of Senseless Massacre LOL
I like your profile pic
Simple and relaxing. Would recommend for family dinner time.
I remember when ROS first uploaded "Invasion". Look at them now :,) so beautiful
This album is way ahead of its time
Fuuuucking lovely. Good buzz going and this is just so damn satisfying.
Drums are absolutely insane!
That's what happens when you have Aaron Kitcher on drums.
you are just joking about superior right ?
That's what happen when you program drums and record at half the speed.
Jari The Sauna Lover That could be a way, as well. They perform live and there are playthrough videos, so it's not that relevant here, though.
