  • The CN O18a is an 0-6-0 wheel arranged steam locomotive built in the Grand Trunk Railway's point St. Charles Shops between 1919 and 1920. A total of 50 engines were built and were originally numbered from 1749-1799. In 1923, the GTW was absorbed into Canadian National and the engines were re-numbered to 7423-7473. They continued to operate right up till dieselization. of the 50 locomotives, 2 survive today:
    7456 is sitting on display at the Montcalm Community College
    7470 operates at the Conway Scenic Railroad in North Conway, New Hampshire pulling several excursions including photo freights.
