Good job. As a novice, I Always give plants a good drink of water i wet em down before applying chemicals so they don't die and i use bleach and dawn. Dawn also helps the windows from streaking.

2G of SH 8.25% mixed with 2G of water run through a downstream injector is sufficient to do that side with a gallon of mix to spare.

Remember when they said you never had to paint your sidings. Admittedly washing is less costly than painting, the siding will none the less get dirty over time.

We tried both, with pressure washer and dialing down+tips etc and a real 12v softwash system. Hugh difference. Much more precise with the softwash systrems, very low/no pressure but more volume and does not blast or over-spray. Even with pressure washer and different tips whatever its still to much mist and waste of chemicals. For real softwashing, you DO NOT NEED ANY PRESSURE. It works! Would never go back to pressure washer. And do you know how much more enjoyable the job is without the freaking noise :-) :-)

We obtain low pressure by using low volume pressure washers with high volume spray tips. In addition to that we stay a safe distance from the house. Bout time the water hits the house its a mist, as you put it. If you notice when I began the rinse process. I stay several feet from the house. Only time I near the house is when I'm rinsing higher up on the house. Also if you notice I'm rinsing diagonally not directly in front of me, which adds additional distance between me and the surface being rinsed. There are several ways to obtain low pressure house washing. Our guys are properly trained and fully aware of any precautions that need to be taken.

I dont get why someone would buy soft wash....can we not just buy a pressure washer and turn the pressure down and use tips that slow down the flow? Am I missing something here? I mean just turn the pressure down and use a different tip....and then when the customer asks to get there fence power washed you can have the power to turn it back up and do that! This soft wash is so confusing!

According to AC Lockyer who owns (or has a trademark or whatever) on the term "Soft Wash" or "SoftWash", the patriarch of Soft Washing, - Soft Washing is done with a 12 volt agricultural style pump and 12 volt battery, and never with a pressure washer. If you are using a pressure washer, you are pressure washing. You may be mimicking soft washing, but it is still pressure washing. Both can do these types of jobs very well, but Soft Washing gives you more precise control over your mixtures. It is a matter of preference. I primarily do roof washes and occasional house washes, so a 12 volt pump set up works best for me. I do have a pressure washer, but I seldom need to use it unless I'm working on brick with a lot of growth or flat work with many years of growth, or pretreating a surface for some stain removal (rust, , otherwise I can do it all with my Soft Wash set up. On thing I love about soft washing with my pump and battery is the total lack of noise. You can stand inches from my pump and carry on a conversation at normal volumes. No high compression engines roaring all day, no fossil fuels/emissions, no risk of high pressure damage, and no issues in some communities where they won't allow work after a certain hour due to noise (and a PW is very noisy), easy and inexpensive repairs, etc. The only job that I've done that I wish I had my pressure washer was a 4,000 sq. ft. pool deck that hadn't been cleaned in 15 years. In that case, it would have been nice to mow down the bulk of the accumulated growth quickly using my PW, then apply my SW chemicals for the final application. It took me longer to get the job done, but the customer was still ecstatic and left me a 5 star review. You can make a good living using either method. Talk to people on both pressure washing forums and soft washing forums (SoftWash Systems.com) and see which style fits you best.
