Your bag looks great! You might try using the net sleeve over your metallic thread; it helps the thread not unwind so quickly. Also, I jut learned about Hydro Stick from OESD. It’s used where you want your fabric held in place without pins and no spray! You just lightly dampen it and lay your fabric on top, then, let it dry. I was working on sweatshirt material last night and it was like magic! Happy Stitching!

Thank you for this. I just bought some small blank bags at Hobby Lobby, and was all excited to stitch them, and realized that I had no idea how to hold back the extra fabric while I embroidered. I saw one video that used sew tites, but they are $26 and I want to do them now anyway. The pins should work. Thank you!

For hard to hoop items either make a mark on the item for center placement or print off a template of the design you can use it over and over again. Sticky back stabilizer a good one won't gum up your needle or a good spray. You can always use an alcohol wipe to clean the needle after soo many stitches, no pins in Vinyl it leaves hole marks and a Metallic needle will help glide the metallic thread better and give better tension.

I love it! Thank you so much for stitching on the cosmetic bag.
I really enjoy watching your videos because of the wide variety of items you stitch.
After watching your purse video, I actually did one and will be embroidering on a
    cosmetic bag as well.

I would have the opening of the bag toward me since all the sizes measure the same. I just find it easier when I can to face my design toward me it's less work and no rotation is needed.

Saw recent video of guy that said when using metallics should stand up vertical. He actually used bobbin winding holder on the top and another piece to hold in place and it worked great.

Hello Keisha. Thank you for all your great videos. I'm learning a lot about the PE 800. I do have a question. Can you slow down or speedup the machine?

ms Keisha!, um i have a long question i am sorry, I bought myself a PE 800 this year and i have a couple questions regarding tension. So, I am going to be generally embroidering on to T shirts and Hoodie type fabric for now. I am not sure what is the best tension setting for these fabrics and depending on which stitch type of course.
For "Fill" stitching (tatimi stitch or whatever) is it best to have it at 4.0 tension setting?
and for Satin Stitch like letting or line work is it best to have it less tension say about 2.5?
I was also wondering what would be the recommended tension when working with denim type fabrics
also i am using basic tear away stablizer
thank you so much for taking the time i appreciate it so much. Merry Christmas!!

Hello. There are some temporary sprays, that will not gum up your needle. The brand sulky KK 2000. It is expensive, but lasts a long time. I order on Amazon. It holds very well and won’t gum up.

Hey Keisha hope all is well. I have some quick questions. What types of thread do you use? Where do you get them? Do you order pre-wound bobbins? Where do you get your supplies? I just want to order supplies that won't break and of quality. Thanks in advance and great videos. I know how it is when you're busy. I make videos and it takes effort, energy and time.
