I introduce you to Ana from Overwatch, she's been in the game since the beginning and has always been strong because of it. I think having anti heal on a healer would be a bad idea for that reason, and putting it on a dps probably wouldn't be the best idea either. But I could definitely see it being on a vanguard. It doesn't even have to cancel out healing, just reduce the amount you receive by a percentage. We have multiple characters with overpowered abilities in the game, I personally don't see an issue with a basic debuff such as this being implemented into a character or two.
A massive issue with comp games no matter the genre to me is feeling like i need to pick a certain character/weapon to win or even contest, its fucking lame and it totally drains the fun out of the competition itself, seeing everybody pick the same characters/guns/team ups etc its gets hella corny like theres so many characters bro let a mf use his playstyle.

If not we're gonna get ourselves into a whole lot of Balancing Issues in the future - "X Hero is op pls nerf" - "X Hero doesn't have defensive ult pls buff" - "X Hero has too much Anti-Heal and makes supports useless, pls nerf" - "X Hero has too little Anti-Heal that does nothing, pls buff" Because just think about it, Support ults as strong as Luna's are used to counter other Hero ults like Storm, Groot, Strange, Punisher, Wolverine And sure for some heroes you can just pop Loki's Healing Totems, that's a *good and healthy* counterplay strategy for the game, but for others you simply can't These are simply too strong for their own good, because they force a boring "Ult Trading" gameplay loop that everyone is gonna get sick and tired of in the near future Which means one of two things need to happen - These stats of these are rebalanced - They get completely reworked

@@key2shawn154 No. It is faster. It requires more energy to charge, but due to dagger's aoe healing knives it charges way faster. The ability costs only account for passive regen on ult. For example, spiderman requires the least amount of energy to use his ult, but him being a melee fighter that requires their cooldowns to get kills will be doing less consistent damage than Psylocke, so in under most situations he gets ult slower. Usually, regardless of cost, from fastest charge to slowest it goes like: Healers ---> Poke DPS ---> Sniper DPS ----> Tanks ---> Melee DPS. The only dps that can get ult as fast as a healer is Moon Knight.
The worst part of it is whoever caps point on domination first essentially wins because they wont die for the next 10 mins they are basically already at 99% at that point and all it takes is 1 hltimate to win its retarded
Had a game yesterday where we absolutely demolished them on attack and once we switched they went 3 support and started to actually win. So i got my friend to switch off strange and we went double dive tank to harrass the backlines. Worked phenomenally, everything has checks and counters never be too stubborn to switch mid match.
The cloak and dagger ult happening so often feels like an oversight considering how strong of an ult it is. Idk how much they plan to change because it seems like “supports having pocket invincibility team ultimates” is by design And that’s fine, but layering them back to back feels so strong
Without getting healing ults fast and less heals everyone would just die left and right due to the enemy ults lazer beaming everything. this game is more like playing chess and way more unforgiving and sweaty if u lower heals on ults . Im guessing you just wan a horrible experience all around.People would just run dps that shred thru healer ults.Way to fix the problem and healers would be weak and not in a good spot.The balance for classes are good , at this point I’d lower the ult durations.
As a thor main this sucks because thor needs a 2nd tank to really shine and usually my team is either trip support or trip DPS with 1 tank forcing me to switch to stange or mag
Thor is one of the best tanks to play in a triple support comp. His Thorforce shields makes him a raid boss in a triple support comp and his damage can pick up the slack of having less dps. You just need to play cover and avoid spamming awakening for chip damage.

The triple meta comp is pathetic almost every match I do everyone tries to do 3 strategists and my team ends up losing, just because high ranking players can do it doesn’t mean you are skilled enough to make it work!
I think the issue right now is that people play the standard "walk in slowly and fight" comps, instead of going dive, flank burst comps and stuff like that. Three dps was a thing in OW too but as peoples skill level rose it was no longer an option. A good change would be more dps damage to punish being out of position more. Tanks can more or less just walk up now without dying. Another version might be wolverine, groot, magneto combo. Grab the tank, take him out, repeat. Denies the healers their ult charge and value.

Dive in OW was always crap if you didn't coordinate, but it dominated all ranks if the coordination was decent. Simply a matter of team play. It existed and worked well in competitive with randoms in OW so why wouldn't it work in MR?
I think a good way to help fix the issue is make some of the ults non cc immune and have them take either longer to get or reduce the duration of there ults.
The problem with support is how invincible they are. Fully healing your team is already powerful. BUt healing them for 8 or even freaking 12 second? And on top of that they get their ult so much frster than other characters s it creates an enviroment where 3 support can cycle their ult over and over again without any break. But like you said ı had a game with rocekt where we killed mantis and luna snow all the time with rocket + punisher ult. Idk maybe this is the scarlet witch meta to stop those mfs.
if they add a deep mechanical character with an ult that is an anti heal it fixes a the triple support issue. key word ONLY THE ULT IS AN ANTI HEAL. if we get characters where they have super overtuned abilities we will go right to where overwatch is. thing like that should only be used for ultimates.
Luna’s ult needs a time nerf 12 seconds is too long. C&D ult can be shut down, I had a rough time in plat with her until I learned to fly in the air before activating, need a build up delay.
This has gotta be the most boring and miserable mets I’ve played the fact that defensive ults are broken supports have stupid sustain on top of being the broken role i dont want to see anti heal at all its such an unfun mechanic i ulted as strange and one single shield from invisible woman kept a luna alive i also had a magneto with me and she survived its insane i really want to see strategist get nuked on ult charge sustain and healing cause the fact the only big counters to it are magneto moon knight and iron man is dumb but to me it’s miserable its boring nothing dies i wait they use another ult and repeat.
There’s a lot of counters for supports ults tho, people just don’t know how to counter and cry. Punisher can kill Luna out of her ultimate with rocket Z ability, Hawkeye can one shot CND and Luna of her ults, magneto can easily kill CND in her dashes also, storm can force every support ult and then win the fight after. People Just need to stop crying and learn how to play, not to mention the dive characters like black panther, Psylocke and Spider who can completely sh*t on the supports.
I think the major issue with nerfing supports, is it pretty much hinges on duelist (who will only pick namor, spidey, hela, and sometimes punshier/storm) on every composition...anti-heal is something everyone wants BUT they dont really understand how badly that would negatively impact rooster diversity and again still just replace one current problem with another one where everyone picks comps based off those two or three heroes. We dont need new heroes, what we need is to amp up everything that is deficient. Give Adam Warlock flight, and crit on his skill cast auto ffs lmfao! My bias is I'm a super smash bros melee player...no patches...and the top 6-7 characters have so much player expression...I hope (but I know it isnt a reality) that MR just focuses on giving more powerful shit to everyone without adding new shit....Just make the game deeper.

I wouldn't nerf dps ults, nerf healing dealt by healers, or the healing ults. I think people just need to pick up on dive comps to harass the 3 healers and the devs can add an ability like Ana's nano grenade and nano boost ult. I don't think anything needs to be nerfed into oblivion and we don't need role queue.

yeah like you said. Super boring to play against. And 3 defensive ults take away a lot of skill from the game. The defensive ults are just so free that it doesn't even feel like people are playing characters, but are just playing ultimates. I would hate to see an anti heal character though because that forces someone to play that character instead of someone they actually want to play. Things like mag ult and iron man ult are nice to have to counter those "press to win" ults. It feels great countering them because they think they can just press it whenever without fear.

Support ults are ruining this game honestly, 0 counterplay, 0 antiheal, just wait but if they have luna snow loki and cloak and dagger they are immortal for like 35 seconds. Then they will have everything back up for next fight because they get ult in 60 seconds.

Play spiderman - venom, magik, BP (sometimes bp is not a good pick if they have a rocket for example), psylocke, anyone that can easily harass and destroy backline. Since they are running 3 supports you have to realize that the enemy team is missing a tank and a dps and you can abuse that. You can let your team 5v6 because the enemy team wont really be bursting your frontline which gives you ample opportunity to just dive backline and destroy them. My highest winrate matches as a DPS main in celestial rank (pc) is against triple supports.
Very much a Luna snow main but I rly wish the game would introduce some anti heal mechanics for future heroes. Not gonna complain my main is good in the meta rn but admittedly it feels like she can just heal a tank up to full in like a second.
There needs to be a bleed Mechanic in the Game. Possibly applied by Characters with extreme pierce damage. Hela,Hawkeye,Bucky idk i feel like with the strength of supports rn its time to get creative.
i agree to a certain extent, the bigger issue is how 4 of the available supports got OP aoe heals where anything short of a 1 shot wont do anything, loki can copy any of them, adam's ult can be hit or miss and rocket's ult isnt worth much when trading ults with the enemy supports. Kinda sad that strange's E on full charge doesnt give the enemy some anti heal

I saw it almost every game when I was in plat, once I got out of plat I stopped seeing it as much because cnd gets banned a lot for me.

@@al3xiumbeats489 brodie, triple support has negative winrate. DPS is the key factor to destroying a triple support comp. Play spiderman - venom, magik, BP (sometimes bp is not a good pick if they have a rocket for example), psylocke, anyone that can easily harass and destroy backline. Since they are running 3 supports you have to realize that the enemy team is missing a tank and a dps and you can abuse that. You can let your team 5v6 because the enemy team wont really be bursting your frontline which gives you ample opportunity to just dive backline and destroy them. My highest winrate matches as a DPS main in celestial rank (pc) is against triple supports.
Very much a Luna snow main but I rly wish the game would introduce some anti heal mechanics for future heroes. Not gonna complain my main is good in the meta rn but admittedly it feels like she can just heal a tank up to full in like a second.
Just play dives and you won’t have the issue

There needs to be a bleed Mechanic in the Game. Possibly applied by Characters with extreme pierce damage. Hela,Hawkeye,Bucky idk i feel like with the strength of supports rn its time to get creative.

I actually don't think 3 strategists is an issue, 3 dos however is.
i agree to a certain extent, the bigger issue is how 4 of the available supports got OP aoe heals where anything short of a 1 shot wont do anything, loki can copy any of them, adam's ult can be hit or miss and rocket's ult isnt worth much when trading ults with the enemy supports. Kinda sad that strange's E on full charge doesnt give the enemy some anti heal

There is far more damage than healing output in this game. If you are losing to 3 supports, thats a skill issue
Yea it can be a skill issue but it’s just not fun to play into
