    The Elizabeth Line is very ideal when travelling from Essex and East Anglia and without the need to change for the Underground that can take much longer.

    I will arrive Heathrow airport at 4 pm, not sure will it take 1 hour or more to clear the custom. I plan to take Elizabeth Line directly to Stratford station, is it necessary to book the Elizabeth line ticket? I will take the same ride back to Heathrow airport in the same week.
    Is it just tap the credit card on the entrance barrel? How it differentiate the payment for Express and Elizabeth Line?
    Thanks in advance.

      Hi, No need to book for the Elizabeth Line. If you have a contactless card you can use this at the gate. The Heathrow Express uses the same platform so just be careful not to board the wrong train. Enjoy your visit.

    Hi! Thanks for making this insightful video. Can you please guide if one is landing on Terminal 2 then after immigration can we use the Elizabeth line to reach terminal 5? Also, is it free of cost or this journey is chargeable?

    • @MarksAviationChannel
      @MarksAviationChannel  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, the Elizabeth Line or Heathrow Express are currently available for inter-terminal transfers between Heathrow Terminals 2&3 and Heathrow Terminal 5.
      You can use an Oyster card or contactless card to activate the ticket gates and you won’t be charged for your journey as long as you only travel between terminals. Alternatively you can obtain a free inter-terminal transfer ticket from one the ticket machines.

      @@cybele55 you also have to tap on exit with the same credit card. If you use Heathrow Express it has it's own platform at Paddington. Tapping at the exit will debit £25 to your account.

    Does tap out calculates the fare based on distance travelled? In NY we don't tap out

    Great video and extremely helpful! What stop would i need to get off if im going to the Trafalgar Square area? Thank you in advance

    • @MarksAviationChannel
      @MarksAviationChannel  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Charing Cross is the station you need for Trafalgar Square. If you're using the Elizabeth Line probably easiest to change at Tottenham Court Road to the Northern Line.

    • @realman6ft6
      @realman6ft6 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For Trafalgar Square it’s easier and cheaper to get the TubE directly to Green Park then use step free access if needed and jump on a number 9 or 23 bus that will take you to Charing Cross station minutes from Charing Cross. Changing to/from the Elizabeth line at some stations involves a long walk.

      No. The Tube and Elizabeth line fares are integrated.

    What's the best way to get to Camden Town from Heathrow with big luggages? If by tube, do you need to change the line? Can the Elizabeth Line get you there?

    • @MarksAviationChannel
      @MarksAviationChannel  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, you will need to change trains. Camden Town is on the Northern Line. You can get the Elizabeth Line to Tottenham Court Road and change there or take the Piccadilly Line to Leicester Square and change. If you have big luggage the Elizabeth Line has better trains and up to date stations and platforms but will cost slightly more. Also try to avoid travelling at peak times. Good Luck!

      Yes, change to the district (green) line at Paddington and get the Southbound tube train.

      No. I'm not familiar with Ealing Broadway station. You may have to pass through transfer points but you will only pay for one journey. Currently it's £7.10 off peak.
