My Recent Health Issues and How They Will Affect My Channel

- This video is NOT about books! But it is about the Book of My Life which has picked up some drama lately. So, if you are interested in learning about what is going on (Finally!) then please tune in! If you don't think a fairly high level of "sharing" is appropriate for You Tube, then scroll on!
Thanks to all of you for your patience with me as I thought over what I was going to say and whether or not I really wanted to do this! I do! Many of you have become my friends in recent months and I want you to know what's happening as it will affect my channel in the future. Again, excuse the delay - I wanted to have as many facts in line as I could before making this video, so you could all hear it directly and in a complete form.

Thank you everyone, for such a wonderful outpouring of love! It is early morning May 3rd, surgery day. I got up early to read these messages and they are an inspiration! I will let you know how it turns out! But for now...it's time to jump in the water....

I hope your surgery went well today! Thank you for sharing your news with us and I’m so glad to hear it was caught so early. Thanks is definitely a wonderful thing. I couldn’t agree with you more about how wonderful routine screening is. It is lifesaving! I’m sure you will have the nicest providers helping you out through this as well as the best experience you could have in this situation. And remember, as you always say “you are the writer of your own story”. Sending you good thoughts for lots of positivity and comfort over the next few months!

I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis, and i wish you well and send all the positive vibes 'across the pond' to you as you journey through this. My Mum had breast cancer and she is now 11 years clear. Hoping all with go just as well for you too!

Renee, I’m sorry to hear about your diagnosis:(. Although, I only “know” you from your wonderful videos, I can tell that you’re a strong and brave woman!! There will be days that will be harder than others-it’s ok to scream, and it’s ok to cry. Please know that you have my support, as well as that of so many in this lovely community! Sadly, probably so. 🙁A smart woman once said, “ On the days when you don’t have a song in your heart, sing anyway.” I believe that may have been Sheryl Crow. She’s a survivor. My mother survived stage 3 breast cancer twice, 1982, then 1998. She’s 90! Just keep moving forward despite this difficult challenge. And remember to take extra special care of you! Everyday! This is a terrible malady of which you don’t deserve, but with the love and support of your family and friends, and this community, you will conquer!💜✌🏻And during your toughest moments, reach out and grab a huge hug from Donna and Raina. You have a beautiful family! Peace

Thank you so much for your kind words! Treatment for every kind of cancer has definitely improved over the years. Attitudes have changed as doctors are able to offer more hope to their patients. The key thing for me is that I kept up with my mammograms and this cancer was discovered before it cause more havoc! Thanks for watching and commenting.

Sometimes, we forget their is a real live person on the other end of the channel. A person who wakes up every day and makes plans for life and happiness. You didn't have to share, but I'm glad you did. Sounds like you are facing this head-on and have a good plan to eliminate those mutant sharks. Keep believing in yourself, and know that better days are ahead. We'll hold the flashlight for you.

I was diagnosed with 3 different types of breast cancer. ILC was one of them. It being a sneaky one, it's really amazing it was caught it so early.

I just found this video. Thank you for sharing so candidly. It’s hard to talk about personal health issues, let alone on a public platform. I personally just went through a total hysterectomy, diaphragm excision, and kidney excision surgery 2.5 weeks ago, so I empathize with the surgery recovery aspect. I know by this point that you’ve already been through the surgery, but I’m sending you well wishes for continued healing and remission.
Wow! I'm so sorry you have had to go through that! I hope you are healing well and I'll send positive and healing vibes your way. I am recovering well from my surgery - however, I have to go back for a second time - the margins of the tumor were not clear. This is a sneaky cancer, but we will get it all this time!! All my prayers for you as you deal with this. I’m glad that you aren’t going through it alone. I have just found your channel so I’m new here and sorry to start this way. It sounds like you are in a good place as far as grade, stage, and type of cancer. And your positive attitude is incredible. As I am seeing your content for the first time, you are either in surgery or just out of surgery. I hope that it went well and that the results are good.🩷

Yes, I am now the poster child for getting routine checkups! By comparing my images year over year, they were able to find this - they have to be able to see the changes and they are very subtle.
