Love this! Crazy that no matter how much time and effort and money people put into these projects people still go on youtube just to talk about “what they would have done” while they sit on their ass all day doing nothing. People with no desire or money are very good at sitting on youtube and telling other pple what to do without any sense to back it up except an opinion. Very good work, ignore the “car experts” in the comments.
Red pin stripping and white racing strips, great combo 😂😂. Oh plus, the white racing stripes on the trunk was a special request from the factory. Only on the hood. Some stuff I dont agree with how he did things. However hope hes happy with her
LOVE the 73/74’s, have had a few of them. I’m currently restoring a 72 nova. Everyone insists that i give it an LS, but it’s getting a 406 sbc 4 speed in place of its original 307/3 speed. They are much cheaper to build, and less of a headache. Sometimes I wish i were building another 73/74.
I have a 74 Nova that was changed to look like a 68-72 model. A 70 nose was put on and the rear panel was replaced with a 70 as well. Couldn't find a nice 68-72 at the time. But the good news is that it has a 454 built to LS-6 specs, Muncie 4 speed and a Moser rear. Its painted victory red. Runs great. It's also nice to see two guys argue over what year it is, they look at the rear tailights, then they look at the registration sticker on the windshield that says 1974, but it looks like a 1970. Good Luck with the car.
the johnny ligtning company is currently selling a 1974 pontiac gto. those miniature car toys with the same body style just came out recently, in a very limited number special edition red color. I can't put the site on here, but it is easy to search for and purchase. they are selling for around fourteen dollars if you're interested. I know it isn't the same car as this but if you don't support it with a purchase, then they likely won't make another version of it, possibly as a 1974 chevrolet nova next time. Anyway, it is worth purchasing if you like that body style. It is the first well known manufacturer that I know of, that is making a miniature car in this body style.
I have this year and model Nova. The part is, I believe, is a relay in the seatbelt circuit, with a re-sent button on top so you can over ride the system and start the car.
Well it's about time I was getting so sick and tired of looking all those foreign car you guys put on display!!! Want to see more American cars!!! The foreign cars are not doing it for me.
just curious on why the 350 and not something like a big block or the 327... and also why the super large leaf spring bushings, when poly bushings are better to deflect spring twist etc?
@@williamstuples339 you can get crate motors for these cars.. Nothing wtong with a 350. Just very common. Novas are my favorite car. Yours is nice. I would just put a big block in like a chevelle or bigger.. Yeah i know that 327 are much rarer but if foubd can rev alot higher then a 350.. Just preference..

Nice build! Thumbs up on the 350, good choice for a driveable fun hobby car! Huge fan of Novas too!

Nice Nova BTW....
Very Nice....
Otro muscle car resucitado🙌
Muito bonito
Dislike the white stripes dosnt really flow with the car but very nice
The emblem on top of the stripe... is that normal?
I'm a die hard fan of nova .they kick ass how much for the car?
Does anybody know what size rims and tires set up? He’s running on this nova?
How long did the full build take?
Hello I have a question for anyone that can answer it for me on here at 10:46 can anyone tell what that part is please
I have this year and model Nova. The part is, I believe, is a relay in the seatbelt circuit, with a re-sent button on top so you can over ride the system and start the car.
It mounts on the fire wall and it’s a starter button. It’s made so you can work on the car from under the hood, set points and timing
needs chrome rings and hubs

Its a street car and 350's are plenty full if blows up no harm no foul build another one where the 327's are hard to find as are the big blocks

What a shame adding that red stripe and the emblem snafu!
the white stripes does nothing for that car!
