I agree! And I did this for years and did make money. I've always had multiple streams of income while working a full time job. Granted my job was flexible and gave me time and opportunity to source and ship while working. Not many people have that luxury but if I could make a buck or two on an item, I bought it. I wasn't greedy and it added up...A LOT over the years. I did have a house/garage full of junk though and not everyone can tolerate that. I'm cleaning it out room by room now and am enjoying the freed up space. Different times of your life you want different things. When I was younger and had more energy, I didn't mind the mess. Now I'm craving order and less chaos lol!

If you're watching Josh's pallet video's and hating on them, do yourself a huge favor. Don't quit your day job to do this. Seriously, I'd hate to think of someone getting into this line of work and not have the basic knowledge that this IS the job. 90%+ of what we do is this, just on a smaller scale, and worse ROI ;) Keep on Keepin It Real Josh!

Fishing dork here, can save you a little bit of research time. The lure you speculated was probably saltwater is a saltwater lure. I think made by Rapala. The long wooden one is, I think, a version of the Smithwick Devil's Horse without the propellers that are typically on the front and back (not a flaw, I think they manufactured some that way). The thin fins are still in production, so possibly not as valuable as they should be. The big blue feathery thing is a deep sea trolling lure. Those "flies" are actually feather jigs. The lures to the right of the feather jigs are probably Rapala jointed minnows. The ones to the right of those are likely to be Rapala original floating minnows. Rapala stuff holds its value. Great finds, jealous as both a reseller and a fisherman.

Sadly what one generation cherishs changes with each one that follows. My great grandmother (who was extremely progressive for her time) had it placed that her recipes would go to me. How many of today’s generation, or even that of one or two before that, would even give a thought to placing something like that in a will?

Josh the Juliette model Multiplex Am/Fm system looks like it is for 8 track tapes. You can tell by the 1,2,3,4 above the slot in the front. Popular in the 70's. They are worth some money if working. Your model is a lower end brand but since 8 track players are hard to find you might get your pallet money back with just this item.

The Black case with the cassette tapes actually looked just like an 8 track tape holder case that dad has. If so it's definitely vintage late 70s early 80s. I only saw it for a split second so I couldn't tell for sure. You can find out by seeing if its a perfect fit for a cassette tape if its not and it's bigger than a cassette tape if you have an 8 track try and see if it fits. Vintage 8 track case might sell better than vintage cassette tape case.

The Coach bag appears to be part of a purse set, hence the buttons on the back where it would snap inside the larger purse. That's also why the authenticity tag is on the exterior of the bag, since snapping it into place in the larger purse would put the tag at the interior back wall location that you'd typically expect to see it at.

I too was in a production of South Pacific! We did the musical when I was a sophomore in high school. I was an island girl!

Liberty House dress could sell for good money. One similar, from what I can sell with it wrapped up, sold for $50 plus shipping. 80s stuff is hot again.

Lot up the cassette tapes and sell them in a lot. ships media mail and can get around $30 for 20-30 of them.. (Tip from Cincinnati Picker) ALso old jeans - lot them up into a flat rate box and sell as craft/wearable/scrap jeans. Get them cheap at the bins and flip for 2-3X your money. (I have a lot of these ready to do this with.)

Do the lots for the CD's as well. I paid around $15 for a ton of them and have made around $75 profit by just listing lots...

I again say, checkout What the Hales, Grimes Finds, Locker Nuts, Storage Stalker. They all do some sort of auction. I love What the Hales because of his excitement

Look at the gold design on the glasses, see if they say Culver somewhere. Might be worth a little.

Yes to trying the whole box contents online like someone else said for a bidding war. Would be fun to watch and much less time than parting out.
