I think he flew away from its old home to your place where it could be loved and cared for right, and it was happy when it died in your hand. If you knew how to make a resin pendant you could take a feather and make a memorial pendant? It can now watch over lil V and maybe the lil bird will "haunt " your place and keep an eye on your other birds. You were in the right place at the right time. Bless you

I absolutely LOVE your farm life! Thank you so much for sharing and being real. Sorry for the loss of that beautiful little bird. I don't think I could physically handle the animals like you do, but I would love to wake up on a farm and relax and enjoy the company of animals like that. The therapeutic energy is much needed in my life. I have a special needs daughter who was injured at 11 weeks in the care of her "dad", my mom is currently battling stage 4 terminal pancreatic cancer, I am homeless living with my sisters family...so much trauma in my 40 years of life & I dream of having a home or what I would call a sanctuary. I also struggle with my own mental health so it makes everything so much more of a challenge having others solely dependent on you to live a happy, healthy, life themselves. I don't get any state assistance since I work to show my older 2 boys that everyone has to work to support their family and nothing in life is free. I get no financial support or even caregiver assistance and my paycheck doesn't even begin to cover the needs of my family. I feel like a failure to them....

Sadly, when people are too nice or too accommodating, they may get overlooked or pushed to the side because the builder knows a stink won't be had. So I think it is good that you let your builder know that even though you are nice... you are not happy with the progress. Keep it up so that you can actually have Christmas there this year!

Sorry to hear about your parakeet, I had 4 of them a few years ago, if anyone is wondering in females there cree (around the top of their beak were their nose is) if it's cream or a light brown it's a female. If the birds cree is light purple or dark blue it's a male. You can teach parakeets to talk. Mine talked all the time. I miss my birds. Omar and Tiff I think this bird came to you to show you just how safe Safe Haven ranch really is. Also I love how Miss Piggy is doing, she's my favorite on your farm.

Omar it’s okay hun, that little guy was probably already older and his owners set him loose to try to let him live the rest of his life free instead of tending to him till the end or something. You did the right thing by him and you have the biggest heart I’ve ever seen. We all love you❤

Sorry to hear about your parakeet, I had 4 of them a few years ago, if anyone is wondering in females there cree (around the top of their beak were their nose is) if it's cream or a light brown it's a female. If the birds cree is light purple or dark blue it's a male. You can teach parakeets to talk. Mine talked all the time. I miss my birds. Omar and Tiff I think this bird came to you to show you just how safe Safe Haven ranch really is. Also I love how Miss Piggy is doing, she's my favorite on your farm.
