Amie, from one bag lover to another, I totally get when a bag does not sit right and you feel bummed because you’ve spent a lot of money on it. With respect to the Coco handle, I had the same issue and ended up buying Pearl extenders for the strap from Samorga. The clips are in the same color hardware as the bag and they just add a couple of pearls to each side of the strap to lengthen it. It fits the Chanel aesthetic and is quite cute

I chose to splurge a bit more on a lizard Capucines because of the wear and tear concern! It has held up beautifully after 3 years; I would recommend it if you love the style.

Thanks for this comparison Amie! I have the coco handle in small in white and I love it. It’s not an everyday bag for sure. It’s not a crossbody bag tho. The handle hits funny crossbody for sure and I am 5’2”. You are not crazy but I think it looks fabulous on you! I love mine and would consider getting g it in a pretty bright color as well. Love all these. I am now looking at the Totem bag. Just wish it came in some other colors.
I did not use my white coco handle much but one day I wrapped the handle in a Dior black n white twilly and it suddenly looks so pretty and so different from the look of the bare bag itself with the twilly! Ever since then I carry it out a lot more!
My favorite was the Gucci with the bamboo handles. The LV Alma BB bag had the best feet--very functional.

You have some beautiful ones that we see you wear a lot but don’t hear much about anywhere on TH-cam. You did a really good one on totes but it’s probably getting on for 10 years out of date now so an updated one on them would be really helpful too.

Amie, if you want your cappucine strap a little shorter, maybe you can hook the strap on the d rings inside where the strap is supposed to go. I dont hook mine on the rings because I am afraid to scratch the rings of the handle.

I love the LV Capucines, but for the retail price is not worth it at all for the wear and tear. I love also the Gucci bamboo Diana bag. I've bought the Demellier one when you showed it while ago on your channel, as I was waiting for more reviews before buying it, but I had to return it immediately. The leather of the crossbody was so weird as if it was made out of paper and the bag in general had many faulty things, I returned it the next day. Now I don't know if it was just bad luck or if they are like this. I will purchase another one and see.

Hi ! Was there a time when LV Mono Vernis Perle Read PM Monogram.does not have a date code? My aunt and I were trying to authenticate an old Vernis white bag. The bag size, the monogram design is on point. even the stitches ,the color of the thread, the color of the inner lining. the lock,the hardware,the stamp,the zipper even the LV near the handle does not overlap.The only thing we noticed is that there was no date code. Accdg to my aunt that bag was given t her by her aunt in 2009 .But that *preluxz* was gifted to her aunt in 1998. There is only a slight discoloration but it looks fantastic.
Never thought Alma bb would look so good! To me it’s always a more mature style. On you, it’s just stunning and so classic. Definitely a surprise. Maybe I need one too 😅

I considered the Toteme bag, but after trying it on and examining it in store, I realized it was too delicate. There was already wear on the corner. I'm not convinced it's going to hold up.
I have the LV Capucine in powder pink. I love it. Agree it’s a beautiful bag. I bought it in Paris many years ago, LV Champs Elysees. Mine is leather inside. The one you have is fabric? The red inner color I mean….

What size is the toteme bag? I see different versions and it doesn’t say a size.
This is the clutch size. The regular size has a top handle and a shoulder strap. The clutch comes with a longer crossbody strap.

Please consider selling the final 2 bags. Its not worth holding onto bags the don't work for you. Its annoying when there is something wrong with them We know our things so well and what suits us. They will be loved by someone else and are in top condition.
