Thank you so much! I've been searching on how to download a single element for over 10 minutes now, and you provided the least labor intensive workaround. I do hope Canva developers make our lives simpler by including this basic option some day.
You've shared an incredibly useful hack for Canva users! Your ability to simplify and demonstrate this feature is fantastic. I'm sure many fellow designers and/or Canva enthusiasts will greatly appreciate your tutorial. Keep up this awesome content!
OMG! This just blew my mind! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve exported as a .png and then opened in photoshop to trim the image, then imported back into Canva! I can’t believe I didn’t know about this. Thank you so much for sharing, I know I will be using it often.
Strange it only works for a group of items. Workaround, Duplicate. Leave enough space with the second item either above below or aside, save the group. Reuse and just crop.
Yep, there’s a plethora of ways to do it, I’ve found the blank shape most foolproof as it accommodates when someone is downloading an image with lowered opacity (if you were to duplicate it would increase the opacity). Also negates the need to crop later.
Hey! Thx for these tips... very helpful! I have a question.... is there a way we can upload the selection to canva without downloading it to our computer? I would save so much time and space if possible!

2:02 download selection not available on my canva premium
Hey there :) are you certain you have more than one item selected?
I am on Canvas Pro but I don't have "download selection" button showing? has anyone else experienced this? How did you solve this?
Hmm are you certain you have 2 or more elements selected?
@@sparklelee4368 I've used it today so it's definitely still there :)
@@jacquinaunton yes, dear, tried again, and it did work, not sure what i did differently....smile. thanks for tips and hacks too.
I faced the same problem. The option is not available if you try to download only one item. You need to select at least two.
@@adriannache6504 Absolutely bizarre why they'd make it like this, but worked for me thank you!

Not that I know of unfortunately!
Great; just keep this high quality of content!
Do you know why the 'download selection' wouldn't be in the right click menu for me?
Have you definitely got more than one thing selected? :)
Exactly what I was looking for! Thank you sooo much for this workaround.
Whohoo!! Glad to help. It’s a great hack.

Right?!!? GAME. CHANGER.
only works for group of object, not a single one. correct your video title....
The work-around I teach shows you how to make it act like it’s only saving one object :)
Thank you.
