@@shaun7638 bro… I am not anti British. I simply hear everyone one of them mis pronounce Pattaya. They all pronounce it like papaya…which is wrong and I bet how you pronounce it. I was simply complimenting Chris that he listens to how real Thais pronounce the word, and he picked it up. His original videos, he pronounced it wrong. He learned. So can you… instead of insinuating I have something against Brit’s. I don’t. But, when you are in Rome, do as the Roman’s do. Some Americans Canadians also mid pronounce it…

I used the word, since you can't hear me pronounce things on a written post. In 30 years, I have never ever heard a Brit pronounce Pattaya properly... it's just an observation Shaun. Get over it! takes all kinds. and be insulted if you don't pronounce it properly...listen to the local Thai's speak

How frequent are these music festivals at Pattaya Beach? To me, once in awhile would be okay, all the time would be horrible. I like beaches at night especially because their dark, quiet and uncrowded. You can see the stars and sky without the glare of bright lights. You can hear the ocean without loud music. It's okay if a few lights and music are around, but too much ruins it.
After saying that, I would be first in line if Baby Metal or Iron Maiden headlined the festival.

@@RetireandGo used to be all the bands were from the Philippines-pretty much all of Southeast Asia. If there was a bank playing any variety of music, 90% of the time, it was Filipinos. They were the ones with the real talent for singing and playing music. It was always fun to chat it up with the members when they were on break. Never met a Penoy who didn't love to engage.
