I don't know how you don't have +100k subscribers already... Editing is on point, everyone is having a damn good time. I love your videos, keep it up!!!!
Brings back some memories. Spent a few years in east AL, the fly fishery there for bass is epic and largely unknown. Miles and miles of clear, rocky creeks absolutely loaded with spotted and largemouth bass. 50+ fish days wet wading with pretty much anything you threw were the norm when water wasn't blown out. Ya'll cracking me up talking about coming up with warm water patterns... A Clouser, Wooly Bugger, Deer Hair Bug and a Popper will catch more bass than you have time in your life to catch. River bass, especially Smallies and Spots would probably hit a bare hook with a few strands of krystal flash on it in most lightly fished places.
Yes. All the yes. I LOVE smallmouth fishing. Im in the South, not far from Northern Alabama and I didn't think there was anything like this within hours of me! I would love to discover this River and catch some smallies! Thank you so much for bringing us on the adventure!
I found you guys a couple of days ago and I haven’t and can’t stop watching these videos! I love every single aspect of these videos and their just amazing, keep up the great work!!!
Awesome fun guys. Keep having fun. I have never caught smallies before- mainly large mouth. But in the Western Cape we get a few in some of our rivers.
You need to come down more often, go for some Redeyes on our skinny water. I started watching your channel about a year ago, keep up the great work! Oh yeah...more Blue Line guys!
interesting what you say about needing a gun. I and my brother almost ended up in some trouble while hiking up to a place to fish in West Virginia we were fortunate to have brought a pistol.
I’m a little behind as I just discovered this channel but I really appreciate content like this and what the blue line fly guys are doing with targeting the warm water fly market bc that’s definitely pretty much all of what I fish but I still enjoy fly fishing. Good stuff 🤙🏼
Man your skills are incredible! Story, sequence, filming and editing.. I'm trying to learn from each video you do from a film making perspective! Absolutely love your channel! It has literally become my favorite channel!
Love the small mouth fishing. Love the videos and the short bus. I kayak fish and love the moving water. I have ordered a couple flies from you guys. I'm new to the flyrod world and it will making our Virginia new trip this year and I hope your flies will bring me luck on my 1st trip with my flyrod.
You guys need to come up to Minnesota and fish the river channels of the Mississippi River. The smallies here are trophy size during spring spawning. And they hit hard and often. There are also Trout spots in the southern areas of the state.
you need to get ahold of Donavan clary in northern Oklahoma. he guides out of the lower Illinois river for Neosho and trophy small mouth along with trout and hybrid. look up anything oklahoma flyfishing even with the wildlife debt and youll see him! would be a video of epic proportion.
I'm just over in Georgia so I know all about having to fish warm water. I have to drive for hours to get to trout water so fly fishing for bass and bream is basically on the menu all year round
Small mouth , trout , Gar , it’s all good . Love they way the smallies hammer the flies streamers or top water . Great video . PS to hot just fished the Missouri up by Craig Montana 100 degrees 😓 but caught some really nice fish 😈 really like the raft setups could have used a motor on the MO wind in your face slow water , great for building shoulder muscles 💪
Keep up the warm water videos. Trout is only one of the many types of fish out there. Kentucky boy here and smallies are what keep me in the water most days. But would love to see you guys do a trip to Cumberland River for the great fishery below Wolf Creek Dam.
Really thinking about taking a fly rod with me for tough days when they're only eating bugs and stuff off top water but not touching lures ..be pretty damn handy I believe
Bros definitely loved the smallie fishing,I go on multiple float trips a year to the jacks fork in the ozarks chasing the bronze backs, they are definitely in my top 3 species to flick a fly at! Thanks for all your work on these episodes I really enjoy your channel and your style.
LOL I was howling at the scene when he cast into the trees and you hear "did you get that on film"..... "yes" lol. Funny he wanted him to look foolish on film. Never have caught a gar, but have been close to a few. Not a species I ever want to tangle with. I actually just did my first smallmouth on the fly experience. Very cool. Nothing compared to this on a float, with good dues, great flies and awesome fishing. Great video as always. Congrats on being the sponsored video of the week on Natives Fly Fishing/CatchCam. Glad you all are linked up. Two great companies/people. Keep up the great work Scottie!
Loved the video no one really fly fishes around here for anything they all take trips to the mountains of nc for trout. i got haw river access in walking distance and they say there are trout in the river but ive never seen of met anyone who has caught any so i usually just go for panfish, and smallmout/ anything that will bite but leanring alot from you guys. Just broke my fly rod when closing the tool box on the truck so definitely need to get another so i can get back to the river. Keep the videos coming
Subscribed. You guys have me building streamer leaders at 1:00am. Will definitely be aiming to pull out some cold water Largemouth in the morning. Well... this morning.
Awesome video, new to fly fishing and I live in Texas so will be trying some of these streamers. Typical only fish poppers. Headed to Colorado in September to try trout fishing
Help this guy get started out and give requests and or tips on something you want to see!! Check this guy out from Colorado starting a new fly fishing group! Check him out and subscribe and share!!!! th-cam.com/video/mQ78xRclGtk/w-d-xo.html
More warm water fishing, bonus points for more Alabama. I'd like to see a redeye specific trip with Drew Morgan from East Alabama Fly Fishing on the Tallapoosa, or Matthew Lewis who literally wrote the book on redeye bass. Great video work, as always.
I picked some of Blue Line's micro and nano swivels. I plan to use them with streamers on my array of sinking lines chasing big trout in Utah on stillwater. Any recommendations for leader set up?
If y’all are interested in getting some of the flies we used in the video, we’re running a 25% discount on all Blue Line products/flies. Just use the code BLC25 at checkout-> www.bluelineflies.com

Thats a Awesome opportunity for fly fishing because you have no pressure from others ,what a gift.
I rarely enjoy a video as much as I enjoyed this one. I love the background music, it really captures the peaceful nature of fly fishing.

Adam is the Danny McBride of the fishing world and that’s about as high of a compliment I can think of.
Super cool vid, grew up on warm water, love seeing some smallies and largemouth caught on the fly!
More smallmouth videos. Love it. Creeks for smallies would nice too.

Great colours on the bass! Love the Gar fly!
The gar fly Is a must have 👌🏻
I really love the carom shot with the fly in the fishes mouth to see what you guys tied....Cool

Awesome video, I live in north alabama, good to see someone taking advantage of our waterways. nice little boat also
Great video guys keep up the good work and have fun at it to.
Let’s see some more smallmouth action! Great stories you thread into the videos.
Y’all were the ones who got me into fly fishing
Kenny and Stevie back at it!
you need to get ahold of Donavan clary in northern Oklahoma. he guides out of the lower Illinois river for Neosho and trophy small mouth along with trout and hybrid. look up anything oklahoma flyfishing even with the wildlife debt and youll see him! would be a video of epic proportion.
7:53 “Oooh that was sick” sounds like you’re a soul singer on the beat!
Always enjoy your videos! More smallmouth fishing is always welcome.
East bound and down to catch smallies! Great video

Solid video. Smallmouth are the best fly rod fish bar none. Keep 'em coming. Oh, and don't fuck with Hobo Steve
Subscribed. You guys have me building streamer leaders at 1:00am. Will definitely be aiming to pull out some cold water Largemouth in the morning. Well... this morning.
Good on ya! Love the style
This is the highest quality fishing video I've ever seen
Just watched the video. You guys were only a mile or so from my house when you crossed from Ga to Al. Dude! You should’ve called me!😎
Excellent series, I love river smallies
Agree with a lot of these comments. Nicely done. Keep doing what you are doing.
Great video Scotty!! My favorite fly fishing channel on the Tube. Thanks 👍🏼
I'd love to see you guys come up here to Minnesota and float the Upper Mississippi or St. Croix Rivers for huge smallmouth all day long.
Heading to the New in WV tomorrow with the raft for a couple days. My Gar fly has two hooks. I like the stinger hook flies more than the rope flies.
I like the "cold start" to the video. No intro or anything. Just start talking 😆👌
Awesome video, new to fly fishing and I live in Texas so will be trying some of these streamers. Typical only fish poppers. Headed to Colorado in September to try trout fishing
Love smallies!
Great Video Boys! Ya'll need to come up north to the Upper Midwest to experience our Smallmouth :)
DUDE I know. It’s a trip on the list!
Help this guy get started out and give requests and or tips on something you want to see!! Check this guy out from Colorado starting a new fly fishing group! Check him out and subscribe and share!!!!

Keep the videos going. Love watching them. You guys are awesome
Neat show. I would love to float a few of the bigger rivers in North Carolina
Amazing video I loved every minute
Hell yeah! Love the warm water fishing here in the Deep South.
I just went fishing with my dad on a guide with Nick, we caught a bunch of bookies and rainbows +1 brown.
Awesome stuff!! Enjoy watching all the adventures. Need another trip out west. Stop in Colorado.
I'm not going to put something in your box that I'm not going to put in mine. Thats a great line at a bar at 1am !!!
Love this video! What kind of boat and motor do you have? I'd love to have that rig for small mouth fishing
Would love to see more Bass fishing
More warm water fishing, bonus points for more Alabama. I'd like to see a redeye specific trip with Drew Morgan from East Alabama Fly Fishing on the Tallapoosa, or Matthew Lewis who literally wrote the book on redeye bass. Great video work, as always.
glad to see this i love small mouth
Mississippi guy here. Keep up with the awesome videos bro
Best line of the video - "The kayak hatch is a bit more than we could handle today"
Man oh man would love to go fishing with y’all next door in Ga. on the line👍
over were I am in canada, there are some TANKS....
Y’all are legends
I love you vids man. Well done. Tightlines. Shout out from Ogden Utah.
This looked like some RAD fishing. Love the patterns
Seen yall float by on this trip. Was fly fishing at the last big bridge yall went by before taking out on the last day🤘🏼
Weirdly enough even from a young age I’ve always thought of small mouth like a more trouty large mouth and I can’t ever get enough of them
Creek mouth of rock creek at the Kankakee state park?
more smallmouth videos, could watch an hour of this, plus smallmouth tactics
Thanks dude! We’ve got one more smallmouth video coming to ya soon👊🏻
Nice video! What weight rods were you fishing? Sinking lines?
We were using 6/7/8 weights depending on the flies we were throwing. And yes, we were using sink tips.
I love flyfishing for trout, but in the heat of the summer bass seem way more willing.
Love the smallies. Keep going with it!
I picked some of Blue Line's micro and nano swivels. I plan to use them with streamers on my array of sinking lines chasing big trout in Utah on stillwater. Any recommendations for leader set up?
Tinker with different weight tippets. Cling knot to either side of the swivel. Usually stiffer shorter butt and longer thinner tippet
Now this is quality content
That seemed like a cool fishin trip!!!
Very enjoyable video. Good job.
More warm water! I live in S.C. and trout is just not an option most of the year.
I second this. I would love to see them do more warm water fishing.
I can be a third on this cause I live in southern Michigan and to find really good trout you gotta drive at least 3 hours north of where I live
Southern Indiana and ask about trout and people are like “ what’s trout”...lol
@@abaddon2479 that's what I'm saying lol. Trout aren't easy at all
Thought this was going to be Missouri or something at first..was surprised to hear Alabama! What?!
Sick vid! Loved it.
Great video!! Wish I was on that trip!
Adam - Can you do a review of your trailer? Bout to build my own and in my mind it will look like that. Would love to see your tips on it. Thanks!
