@reair44 Tip: I always have my passwords (about 10) saved in iPhone “Notes” which I can access easily, and also I carry a hard copy with me for ease of use when I travel. I have no need for encrypted password services. My password system works like this: It must be at least 15 digits, starts with a capital letter ie “F” using two easy to remember words ie “Go dog” (the second word encompassed by symbols, folleowed by four digits ie “1234”, and ending with two digits (a letter and number) ie t2. The security you have is that the four digit easy to remember numbers and the last two security digits that are never written down or saved in iPhone “Notes”.
Example: “Easy pay” would be Easy#pay#1122g9 This method allows you to remember any password, and take centuries to crack.

10 characters in 2022 or later is a bad idea. My shortest password is 15 characters long, and that's only because it's limited by the website. I generally prefer 18-24 characters for most sites, and more than 30 for my password manager(s).
I like to take a short base password, unique for each site, which complies with the character-set requirements they dictate, followed by 12 characters (or more) of a random-looking padding sequence I have previously created and memorized. This padding sequence can be re-used for other logins to reinforce the smaller base passwords. I have created several of these padding sequences over the last 7 years, but I started with just one, until I got comfortable with the idea.
One example of a padding sequence might be one based upon song lyrics: cyftl94dykty03 (can you feel the love, from 1994, don't you know that you're toxic, from 2003) is a viable 15-character padding sequence. Bolt that onto a short base password, like FAC!!pas (Facebook password), and you get FAC!!pasdyftl94dykty03, or a 22-character password that's dead simple to remember. Hackers are not actively cracking 20+ character passwords like this one, and if they are trying to crack longer passwords at all, they are either using social engineering tactics or pasting together common passwords and modifications. Brute forcing is infeasible at this length.
Password managers are good at generating good passwords, but you still need to have enough skill to construct a great master password to protect them all. This skill cannot be bypassed until we are all doing passkeys; then we will have to be good at managing our virtual keychains and backing them up. We'll be trading one essential skill for another. There is no free lunch.

A site I was once on that was related to my work just stored the password as plaintext. The reason I knew was because for some reason in the settings you could see your own password. A site like that probably isn't hard to hack. Just adding the name of the site to a password and maybe changing a couple of numbers is what everyone does. If one of your passwords is leaked, all of them pretty much are.

Memorise a random weird sentence. Make sure it is not related to something you like or something you post on social media.
For example if I am a big mcu fan and my friends and colleagues know and my social media is full posts about mcu
Hulksmash123 would be a poor choice
    Instead , MydogStalinFARTED$$$789
