Ehlers really improved quite a bit! Good work! Wickler now really has a good partner. Swedes still ... just wow. Oove how they changed the entire game. To me, much more exciting. (Not always the exact same clockwork process; much more agile, cheekey, smart).
I mean - I know the doubles are much more loose these days, and I am okay with it to a degree as it is introducing a lot of new tactics. But that set at 7:28 was bad and it needs to be called. Plus- why not show the last serve?
I think the set looks actually very okay. It's also always different live in person and nowadays its way more about the contact than the rotation alone
translation: How many more times does Wickler need to attack diagonally before he realizes it's not working? we see 5 diagonal attacks from wickler and only one of them doesn't lead to a point. so why change tactics? especially as we only see part of the game. Or have you seen the whole game?
@@nikolic5 Indeed! I mean, he is still able to improve and get more creative with shot placement, but he has such a secure, deep-cross, high contact spike. Nothing wrong with using that.

@@TheCaptainLeonardI acknowledge your point. I was looking at the contact! Not necessarily the two rotations.
Сколько еще раз нужно Виклеру атаковать в диагональ, чтобы понять - это не работает?
Eu percebi a mesma coisa. Só ataca na diagonal, o sueco já estava esperando 😅

sorry, I meant Ehlers@@isaw482
Ehler's has trouble scoring on serve receive. Definitely needs to be addressed.
Did you even watch the second set?
His sideout % is literally one of the best in the game right now, he has gotten a lot more consistent
