I say ground but it can vary by make and model, you have to check whatever your manual says. I've even heard some Harley manuals even give two readings, one for the bike on the ground and one for suspended.
Next up my 09' Dyna w/35,000 miles front forks are leaking. They're supposed to be rebuilt every few yrs or roughly every 20k miles...but they weren't broke, so I didn't fix'em 😏

2 questions, should I do this with the tire on the ground? Also should I do it with the belt cold or warm?
