- We've driven the Nissan Kicks e-POWER before and it truly is amazing. We just can't get enough which is why we, along with some media friends, decided to embark on a road trip with this very popular hybrid electric vehicle.

How many hours and km total was the travel before you gassed up? I'm trying to figure out if the Kicks would be a good car for a few monthly long car rides about 125km.
Kicks owner here, my DTE has always been around 550km-600+ and that's city heavy traffic, and occasional highway drives at midnight. At 125km, you won't need to gas up even if you do it 4x. The thing about it though is to get more effeciency from it, drive it like an ev, basically the single pedal driving, where accelerator is for speeding up and slowing down maximizing the regenerative breaking.
Apologies for the very late reply! We fueled-up at around 7 AM, drove about 300-400 km until 6 PM, went out to drive again the next day at 11 AM, before refueling at around 12NN after 60 Km.
I hope nissan organizes a similar eco run with the kicks club
Given the chance to have this or the corolla cross hybrid, which would you choose and why?
It actually depends on what you’ll need! The Corolla Cross is larger so more space but the Kicks is more comfortable, more fun to drive, and feels a lot more well-built overall which is why we’d get the Kicks. :)
