  • Welcome to the world of hand-painted warps! While I am no expert on this beautiful artform, I have an insider connection to someone who does.
Her name is Amanda Baxter, with Shiny Dime Fibers. She was the first person I reached out to when I decided to dive into a project using hand-painted warps and she graciously offered me a few tips to get the most out of the experience.
So in today's episode of A Handwoven Experience, I'm sharing Amanda's tips with you! Please enjoy episode 162, "Hand-Painted Warps".
By the way, Amanda has a great video all about warping a rigid heddle loom using a warp from Shiny Dime Fibers and I'm very excited to share it with you. Here's the link to take advantage of this great resource - • Warping a Rigid Heddle... .
And don't forget to wander over to Shiny Dime Fibers to shop for a few stunning warps of your own - you'll love them! www.shinydimefibers.com/
We're quickly wrapping up the April Weave Along! How is your undulating twill going? Be sure to send a photo of your finished project to me at chris@actoncreative.net, or post it in the Facebook Group. Here's the AWAL Central Page to answer any questions - actoncreative.net/april-2024-...

Thanks! Rep weave is one of the most common examples of a warp-faced pattern. Here's an episode to learn more about it -th-cam.com/video/iauzEgd1Kcg/w-d-xo.html
Let me know if you have more questions! Thanks!
