    Thank you so much for giving a useful review with actual experience with the product and giving your opinion at the beginning! I appreciate that so much- I like the details, but I also hate being strung along forever. This was a really good and helpful review for actual healthcare workers!! Thank you again!!

    Those look pretty cool. I agree with hate wearing shoe covers 😂 I myself have been wearing Calzuro slip-ons for 9 months now and I still love them! They have a perforated and non perforated toe box option. Since I’m a tech I got the non perforated option and it’s super easy to clean and you still get a lot of air in since they are slip-ons.

    I wear San Antonio Shoes (SAS) Navigator with their premium insole. They are quite expensive, (around $200) but are very comfortable. I can stand all day and go home without leg fatigue. You can't use the sani-wipes on them, so I use the mop solution we have instead, and have been holding up for 2 years now. Not the most stylish, but they have several options.

    Im wearing the Hoka One One's in the OR now, and love them after wearing Dansko's my entire nursing career (23yrs). As you say though , you need to wear covers to keep them looking decent. Thanks for the review. Could you do a video on Neurosurgery instrument trays as I'd love to share that with my new scrub techs and scrub nurses where I work. Huge fan here.

    Nice video Shane. Right now I’m wearing, oddly enough, a pair of high top snow sneakers that bought from LL Bean before I left Georgia. Even though they are meant to keep your feet warm in wintery condition, they are not too hot in warmer climates. They are super comfortable even after being in the OR all day. Dansko’s I hate. They don’t fit my feet properly. They feel like they’re going to fall off so I end up walking funny. As much as I love my snow sneakers, I’m always looking for new or different. I think I might give the Cloves a try as I really like the super grippy feature. That’s a big selling point for me. You mentioned slippery floors during room turnover and I know about that all too well.

    I know that everyone is not always a fan of Danskos, but they really did save my feet. I tried multiple shoes for years, tennis shoes of all types, crocs, different clogs, and finally went to Danskos and fell in love. I have super high arches and plantar fasciitis. I was getting injections in my feet and going to therapy on a regular basis and was finally able to stop. I have been wearing them for 12 years and I just bought another brand new pair and still love them. You have to find the shoe that is best for your feet, no matter what it is. Try everything and if it doesn't work move on. Also, do not be afraid to spend money on your feet, they are the most important piece of your body, they are your base. Take care of your feet!

    Year three as an 1100-2300 CST at a level 5 Trauma hospital in SC. Basic shoe covers don't do shit. Impervious boot covers are for wet scope cases. I've seen clogs, cowboy boots, and boat shoes. Fuck style. You've probably already found a brand and model that works for your feet (not your gym choice, think comfortable tourist shoes). I can say that Nike minimalist runners are still my favorite on the street, but Clouds are my go to at work. Stuck in Stratus now (bit too heavy and too much drop) , but the Xs were perfect. And never feel bad about spending money on a new pair, if you can afford it. They wear out quicker than you think, and you won't recognize it. This is a physical career, and you should think of yourself as a very niche athlete. Much love.

    As a Dansko and Birkenstock wearer (I alternate every other day), I want to ask you how it feels to stand in these all day. Walking on the floors and having a great grip (with a squeak) is great an dI don't care how they sound- I just want to know about the foot fatigue. Thoughts?

    Currently a student in ST and am just wondering how important it is to know human anatomy and physiology for the future of my program. I currently have a C and am not retaining the information as well as I'd like. Is this something I should be concerned about and see tutoring immediately? Basically I know I'm going to pass the class but am scared about moving forward without this information solid

    Maybe if you get leather shoes you need to polish them (not to make them shiny obviously) to keep the leather nourished and the polish will serve has a protective layer. you just need to apply like every 6 months and your leather shoes shouldn't dry out after using any alcohol based wipes.

    Man I go way back when you had to have shoes that were grounded because of explosive anesthesia gases.When dinosaurs roam the Earth.What ever works for you just make sure they are waterproof and easy to clean. My old chief of surgery in the 1980's wore a full face shield,barn boots and double gloved he was years ahead of himself. My best advice speaking with 50 years of experience where support stockings amen.Stay safe it's a great job that you'll love.Except call.

    I would not recommend Clove shoe. I have three pairs from warranty replacements and being on your feet 12 hours it will hurt you. Also if you are going to get them do not wear them brand new out the box to work. Make sure to heavily break them in or you will get blisters on the side of your feet.

  • @EM-wh4bu
    @EM-wh4bu ปีที่แล้ว

    My Two cents is.....BEWARE OF CLOVE CUSTOMER SERVICE ISSUES.
    Something is not right with how this company is treating customers. I cannot speak to a person via phone. There is too much money being spent not to have a person help you when there is a problem.
    There was a mistake I was sent the wrong shoe size. I was sent a men's shoe I am within the 30 day return exchange. I am trying to correct this and now I am being told the sale is finale so there is nothing they can do. I do not wear men's shoe size. This shoe is not useful to me. Because I bought the shoe on sale I offered to pay any up-charges on a different pair just so I am not out of a shoe and the money I already paid for them. I think this is fair as I did not make this mistake and they would get more money from me plus the men's shoes I cannot use are returned to them.
    Only I’m being sent in circles with no resolve for a mistake I did not make? I’m being told to email support again. However, no one is calling me to resolve the issue. I emailed support and once again they sent me the same message, they cannot fix the issue stating the sale is final.
    This is not how you treat customers.
