Awesome walkthrough Nick. Have been following all your Intune related videos now as they are a fantastic source. One thing though. When it comes to documentation for our users who will be sent the devices to their homes, how am I able to do a screen recording for how the mobile will act when the user gets the device (as you have in your video) so I can get some quality screen shots for some of the various windows that they will see. I know that I can get screenshots from the mobile, but during the initial setting up process, I assume this won't be possible from the device so need to use a program as the one you used in the video, to record the process and get the screenshots from that instead. Hope that made sense?
Hey Richard, here are some steps to record your screen on an iOS device: support.apple.com/en-us/HT207935 from there you can export that video file for consumption elsewhere
Still loving your content. I'm stuck on the email config profile, getting an error in Intune "Account Not Unique". Also is the compliance profile absolutely necessary? And one final thing, when the email configuration finally is successful, is it pushed to Outlook on the iOS device or do we need to push that App out?
Hey there. If you are getting that error, it means the email profile is already configured on the device so there was no additional action to take. The compliance policy isnt a requirement but it does allow you to make sure they are using their business email on the native mail client. Many people want this to sync their contacts. The email config is for the native mail client on iOS, not outlook.
