He's (supposedly) behaved like a billionaire owner of a football team who doesn't really know the game should act this season, and I'm sure this past Sunday had him itchy but it was one game on one Sunday on the road against a division rival with brand new "technology" as someone else succinctly put it. There are two ways to handle this kind of situation when you are someone who neither owns, plays for, gets paid by, or is otherwise directly impacted in their daily life (not emotionally): Either 1) Throw a fit and call the players and others in the org silly childish names, talk trash about their chances or 2) Take a breath, look around you, and realize how far away and detached that world is from yours and chill the fuck out and go on with your life without doing anything from number #1. I don't like it any more than anyone else, but if you're gonna wear the team colors you gotta be willing to stick it through the bad times too. Maybe they are here to stay for a lot longer than ever before, but if that's the case then it neither puts in nor takes money out of my pocket and so be it.
I would have suggested the crowd start chanting "sell the team" of "f-you tepper" but playing like this there won't be enough people on hand to be heard. And lets face it, the opposing fans love what he's done to us.

It was a bad sign of things to come when on the first drive by New Orleans that DB gave up on the scoring play. He pulled up instead of attempting to make the play. Would it have stopped the wide out from scoring? Probably not, but when the mindset in the first game on the first drive is to pull up, that doesn't bode well for the teams mentality.
Week 1 isn't solely on Bryce. Yes, there were plays where he should've made the throw to an open receiver. Yes there were some plays where his footwork was off. Others are to blame here. We harped all off season about putting the run game first and we amass 11 carriers combined between Chubba and Sanders. That is NOT sticking to the run. Coaching is to blame just as much as Bryce's ability. We need to put the run game first and slowly build Bryce's confidence, assuming he remains the starter. That's a product of sitting him all preseason. This is the defining season for Bryce and there are plenty of games left for him to prove himself. Sit back and see what transpires because one game isn't enough to tell a story.
He needs three years minimum as a coach to turn things around. It would be foolish to continue firing coaches and QBs every year. We will end up with the same results over and over if we don’t establish stability.
