For the eclipse, I think I know why the mobs glitch. The skeletons, spiders and zombies all attack at night. But when the eclipse is enabled, the mob's code are confused if it's night or day, and registers it as both at the same time. This causes the mobs to glitch out. Depending on the timing, if you do it a little early, the mobs will freeze and not move, as it is more day than night (because he did it earlier). And if you do it a bit late, it will be slightly more night than day, making the mobs function but entirely breaking the mob's code and confuses it with other mobs. Just a theory though 🙃
