wow, that was beautiful. I finished the 3 Vol when they launched originally on PS2 but i never had the chance to play Vol 4. Now that the trilogy plus vol 4 its coming to nintendo switch ill take this chance to replay them once more and finally play Vol 4 ^^
.hack started as an anime with .hack//Sign in 2002 and the story finally concluded with .hack//reconnection in 2017. So it's safe to say that they've given this series tons of support.

** Spoilers: Ovan was in a coma because his conscience was trapped in The World, so Haseo after receiving an upgrade (because of the avatars) he managed to free Ovan's conscience, Ovan was able to get out of his coma and return to playing normally with the VR Controller.

自分にとってたかがゲームがされどゲームになった作品で、10年近くの時を超えてシリーズ続編が出ると思ってなかったから当初は驚いた。

when Ovan was in a coma in real life, Ovan character was trapped in an ice at The World (with his Consciousness), he wasn't actually playing the game.
So... Basically same case as Tsukasa? 🤔

There was really only one plot thread left in the GU series after Vol 3 which was saving Ovan.
