Dharaa dharasuthaa dhanyaa dharminee dharmavardhinee
lokaatheethaa gunaatheethaa sarvaatheethaa shamathmikaa ||176||
Devi is the earth on which all beings rest. She is the daughter of Himavan, the king of mountains. She is supremely blessed. She is righteous and promotes righteousness in devotees. She is beyond all the worlds. She is also beyond the three Gunas of Prakruti known as Sattva, Rajas and Tamas. She is beyond everything and is the soul of peace
